Works very well quick read and will erase your old bad codes .. however if you still have the bad codes your car will re read the bad codes in about 100-200 miles depending on the codes .. so don't blame the scanner, change the parts .. also if you live on a state that requires an inspection that has to read the one port, they won't pass you just because your within those 100-200 miles they'll fail your car and tell you to come back after it's reading properly..

This will save you substantial amount of monies.One will always know what the real problem is, prior to going to the Repair shop.They do have a little more sophisticated unit which does the same thing.Once you know the error codes. things are much easier. Dealership or Repair shop cannot defraud you.
