Q: Have you ever used regular RainX on you M/C helmet? Why do they make a plastic version, does the regular stuff damage the plastic?

Regular RainX will ruin your plastic. Yes, unfortunately, I tried it. Had to replace the visor on my helmet.

Q: Would this be suitable to use on the waterproof plastic casing for an action camera?

Believe so. It just helps "bead" up the water so it flows off more efficiently. I use it on motorcycle windshields and visor, but the wind helps keep it clear.

Q: Is this safe to use on vinyl windows (isinglass, strataglass)?
