802.11ac AC600 Fast USB WiFi Adapter Wireless dongle with 2dBi dipole SMA Antenna chipset: Realtek RTL8811AU Dual Band 2.4GHz or 5GHz Windows macOS Linux and Linux Kali Supported

I bought this to add wireless capability to my Bel Canto (“BC”) e.One Streamer. Based on the specs provided by BC this adapter checked all the boxes. I plugged it in to my streamer and it worked perfectly first time out. No muss, no fuss, no CD install required (at least for me). It is using the 5 GHz band and so far the streaming has been flawless. Very pleased with this purchase.

I needed a faster internet connection for gaming on my desktop computer but not able to run a wired lan cable to it (not able to hide the cable).Solution- split the 2.4 & 5 Ghz WiFi signals from my sky router, not forgetting to add 5Ghz to the name of the 5Ghz WiFi signal.Install the WiFi Nation network adapter (simple plug and play with Windows 10).Them find your 5Ghz signal and enter the password (password will still be the same for both 2.4 & 5 Ghz signals). You now have a fast 5Ghz WiFi connection for gaming or anything else.Caveat: This setup works best when computer and router are in the same room.For different rooms you may have to stick with 2.4Ghz because it has a greater distance, goes through walls etc but slower speed.

For usage with kali linux, keep in mind it will not go into monitor mode on most installations, even using the latest kernels and kernel 4.19 (tested), but it does work on the custom kali z-security distro. If one works on white hat wifi testing then dkm3 is the package (over aireplay-ng) to use with this adapter.
