The battery worked perfectly, the tools included are useful (and plentiful considering the price), and the packaging protects everything nicely.

Very simple task that anyone can do. The kit includes everything you need to replace your battery. Instructions were included that are written by a fluent English speaking person or AI I guess. Although they did mention a youtube video but the link or QR code wasn't in the instructions. It actually includes tools I didn't even need but I could see them being helpful if you've got some stubborn glue. Even included a magnetic screwdriver (pretty sure I would have lost at least 2 screws if it weren't magnetic).The battery itself seems to be an exact replacement even though it isn't OEM and as old as my LG V40 is I don't even have to wait to see how long the battery will last to know it will be better than the swollen, old battery that I replaced.

I liked that it included some of the tools needed to replace the battery. The instructions could have been better and they referenced watching a YouTube video to see how to do it. They didn't give the video information though. There were several made by users so I watched those and started.You have to use a hand held blow dryer or heat gun to loosen the glue on the case edges in order to pry it open. You have to be very careful when prying and sliding a guitar pick like "tool" around the edges to loosen the screen.The problem I had was loosening the battery. It's glued on the back and you're supposed to heat the backside of the phone to loosen the glue.The problem; the glue caught fire underneath the battery even though it wasn't that hot. It mentions in the directions that the glue was not included. One of the videos I looked after the fact said the company didn't include it because it's extremely flammable. I can vouch for that. It also could have caused the battery to explode. Fortunately, I put it out quickly by ripping the battery out and throwing it out the door as it was smoking too. There was still sticky glue on the inside of the battery compartment so I didn't need to apply any and the way it sits and is held in makes you wonder why it even needs glue.In any case, it works.

I am very pleased with this product

It performs like the original. I bout one febore from another brand for $60 with suposedely more capacity and it did not even work after a month. This one works great and at a great value.

Was excited when we got this new battery, the instruction was a great help for quick replacement and installation. And the phone started working like new again..... BUT, after 2 weeks, now it won't hold the charge! No matter which charger we used (which worked on our other 2 phones and charged with no problem), it wouldn't hold any more charge passed 59%...!!!!! Quite disappointed now. Will return it back to Amazon.One thing though, it would be a great help if it would include glue to close the phone back-cover back in place. Or, give some extra of that double-sided tape which would work fine too.

Perfect fit, but I wish the glue was included to reattached the back. Otherwise, perfect phone is holding charge again.

the kit has (almost) everything you need to install a new battery into your phone. The kit does NOT come with glue to re-glue the case together due to shipping restrictions with flammable glue and batteries in the same package.I found that I really didn't need new glue since the phone case stays together well enough with the old glue and it's in an impact case anyway.It comes with ALMOST all the tools you'll need to get your old battery out and install the new one. I found that a good set of tweezers and a plastic spatula or wood tongue depressor came in handy when prying parts out. Especially the battery itself since it's glued inside the phone. There isn't much room for error here.You'll need a good set of magnifiers like maximum magnification readers or a hobby magnifying glass. Some Isopropyl alcohol and a small dropper will help you greatly here getting the battery out by dissolving some of the glue prior to prying it out.Above all, take your time, go slow and think twice about prying against something that looks important. It is important. You don't want to damage something because the a new battery will bring your dead phone back to life again. It's WELL worth the money and time to replace the battery rather than getting ANOTHER new phone.
