Tenía un problema extendido en el tiempo respecto a mi ropa de abrigo en invierno al hacer ciclismo de montaña: frío en las orejas. Utilizaba bien gorros de invierno que tapaban las orejas, bien bragas que subía hasta las mismas; pero nunca era suficiente: el viento se abría paso y penetraba en las orejas, duro y frío.Con esta simple cinta, el problema ha desaparecido de raíz: comprime y protege, de forma que no entra una gota de aire. Perfecto.

I purchased this for mountain biking in the cold season. I normally wear a headband most of the time for perspiration but in the cold months, a headband isn't warm enough and a skull cap may be too much. This is a great compromise because it lets the top of my head breaths but it effectively keeps my forehead and ear tops comfortably warm in 45 deg F temperatures. A little pricey but the Gore Windstopper material is very effective against cold. In fact, I was so impressed with this headband, I just purchased a second one.
