Big improvement over earlier models
I have been using the GlocalMe G2 model for my travels for some years and was looking for an upgrade. The G2 model was good but it was a bit outdated and connection was sometime unstable. I chose this DuoTurbo model for more stable connection and more connected devices (10). I have used it for about a week now in US and Canada and everything meets my expectations. It has a sleek design and a very portable size for travel, the colored touch screen is clear and easy to operate but is a bit small. Set up was straight forward and connection is very stable. One full charge can last about 18 to 20 hrs. It is SIM-less and you need to purchase data package from GlocalMe or deposit money in your account for pay as you go charges. The packages are a bit expensive but discounts are provided frequently. It is quite flexible to fit people travelling to different countries. You can also insert a SIM card of your own. Apart from the expensive packages, everything is good for my need, an excellent upgrade.

Lifesaver for overseas work trip!
Highly recommend! Reliable Internet, holds a charge all day long, user-friendly app and touchable screen on the device. I have had bad experiences with hotel wifi in Italy, so I got this for a recent trip to Portugal since I had to have internet for work. It is pay-as-you-go, and you can easily see how much data you have left. The app warns you when your data is running low, and you can add more as needed. It is smaller than my smartphone and was convenient to bring along with my phone, my battery pack and my documents in a fanny pack. I could use WiFi calling do I didn't even need to get a SIM or eSIM card for my cellphone (my phone pls. Doesn't have international calling on it).

It works pretty good for the most part
I like that's it's easy to use, and you can see how much data you use. It works most of the time, sometimes it gets spotty, but it's good. Data can go fast so it can be a lil pricey. But overall I like it. Oh it didn't come with a charger but you can use your android phone charger.

Perfect contingency solution in the event of an unplanned outage.
I needed a backup internet for emergencies and this device is the perfect solution. My internet provider at home (Xfinity) is for the most part very reliable but we experienced two major outages in the past month, leaving us without internet for 2 days. These events made me consider the necessity of a contingency internet connection. I did not want to commit to a monthly plan because it would be overkill for my needs so I found out that the "Pay-as-you-go" solution was perfect. What I really like about this device is the fact that it can connect to the best network available (AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile) depending on where you are at. That's a significant benefit because my cell provider has very poor connectivity (making my phone's hotspot pretty much useless) but the other 2 carriers provide a decent service. I read some of the negative reviews and they all seem to be due to the expensive plans offered (which is true) but in my case, the 10Gb/1day package for $17.99 will be enough to cover my needs during a potential outage. I work from home using Virtual Desktop and my data consumption is minimal, 10Gb is plenty of data and enough to keep my connection up and running, surf the internet, check personal email, and occasionally watch YouTube shorts. I always requested a credit for these outages ($15/$20 credit) so basically, XFinity is paying for my backup internet. The speed is not lightning fast but it varies depending on your location. There are other solutions out there if you are going to be using this as your primary internet connection or you need a super-fast connection but this is a perfect backup solution for short-term usage.

Decent initial trial, and apparently works anywhere, but service is a scam
Although it seems to work reasonably well, and anywhere in the world; I found that there's nobody on the customer service number, and you can't buy service without giving them all of your information. I used cash on a clean prepaid card, and they wouldn't accept it. It's a data mining product. Very suspicious, and charges a lot for the data. Reports here say that it's annoying to set up with the optional sim card, and I don't know anything about that. I used the e-sim that's installed. The data included with purchase seemed to run out quickly, but had a decent connection in remote US. Overall, I don't trust anything about this product. Made in China, and works like a Chinese product. Functional, cheap hardware, but demanding of personal information. Use caution. Edit: I've activated it with a local SIM, and it's compatible with every cell company I've talked to about it. Most weren't sure, but found it acceptable. They may have blocked it since, which has happened with other devices I've tried. This specific device is only 4G, but worked well with it.
