Yes, There is a patch just as pictured. There is also a patch of velcro about the size of a quarter on the top and a name tape strip of velcro on the back where you can adjust size.

Q: is there velcro on the back for a patch?

there is a TINY piece of velcro on the back, big enough for maybe a tiny name patch, the reg size usa flag patch i bought is WAY too big for the tiny velcro. There is NO velcro on front, even though they show it in the picture.
