NEW UPDATE8/10/24 SUB FAILUREPurchase on 6/16/21 and was delivered a day early. This powered sub shakes the pictures on the walls and knocks things off shelves. I had to fix a bunch of rattles around the house even on the outside. Sound quality is great and the low bass it puts out is amazing. I’ve heard bass in music that I never knew it was there before. Definitely worth the money, At this point I would buy this again. I will update my comment in the future.8/24/21Still going strong, I work from home and it’s on every day. No issues except for a broken picture that jumped off the wall.10/15/22Still going strong. Going to buy another soon.5/3/24Finally pulled the trigger and ordered a second one. First one has had no issues and is still rattling the house.5/16/24Sub showed up on time new in the box no issues. Sounds awesome just like the first one I purchased. Only issue I have is… I think my coonhound is moving out.8/10/24First purchased sub failed today! Found a broken wire on the speaker. Fixed the wire, speaker works but crackles at lower volumes.I jam pretty hard and push these subs for long periods of time. Even though the speaker failed I’m still pretty impressed. I’m gonna try to find a replacement speaker from BIC America.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had shopping from a third party seller in the last 20 years.The subwoofer was just Ok though all the hypes of playing close to 15Hz mentioned, but it was bit boomy, room acoustic is really important. After playing few tracks, noticed that some distortion started showing for some tracks unfortunately, Even my wife was able to identify when we were watching a movie.I had received a defective subwoofer from this Seller Kart IT who did not pay the return shipping cost for a defective item. For a such a heavy subwoofer, the UPS ground shipping was 170$ from California. Thats almost close to 50% of the original item cost. Even after the successful return, the seller had refunded only 50% of the cost saying that the item was not resellable(of course, defective item cannot be sold as it is folks) It was very disappointing and frustrating for a period of 1 month over a long disputes. Thankfully Amazon helped me to recover the cost. Thank you Amazon. I would definitely do not recommend this purchase to anyone. In case you are attempting to buy from this seller, Good Luck.

Best bang for your buck if you want very deep bass you can feel. I had an issue w one sub and the company was so helpful in remedying the issue. They truly care. Fairly priced and great service.

I have been wanting a subwoofer that played below 20Hz with some authority for quite some time. Premium subs like a 12” SVS are out of reach for under $800 now. I have been watching and researching this PL-300 for months, so for $380 on a 15% off sale, I went for it. I have purchased multiple BIC speakers over the years and have been happy, and this purchase is no exception.Packaging was excellent, and was throughly protected by soft styrofoam. I replaced a Polk PSW505 with this sub, and there is a tactile improvement in felt bass. It digs deeper and louder as well, so it’s everything I was hoping for. It blends nicely with a Klipsch R120 sub I run with it too.I’m deducting 1-star because I was disappointed when I first played it at only a quarter gain, it distorted badly around 16hz. After doing a full Audyssey calibration though, it is dialed in at only half that gain with no distortion. In my medium size room it performs well, but if you’re trying to pressurize a large room, then you may need a beefier sub(s). Port chuffing was pretty bad at this higher gain as well, but not noticeable at the current setting.An SVS or similar would be cool, but honestly, I question how much better it would have really been for my space. Especially for the big price difference. This is the only infrasonic subwoofer out there for less than $400 at times, and is totally worth it if you have a small to medium room. Only question is durability, but it survived the initial pummeling, so I’m hoping for the best. I will update if it bites the dust within warranty.

This sub is incredible, twice as good as the younger brother bic pl200 ii. Thanks again.....3 months later even better, neighbors love it.

I owned the PL-200 for about 7 years but it finally gave out. The amp blew so I needed another sub and decided to give the one a try. Sub is strong and has deep bass but the build quality was not that great. The cabinet vibrated at any level of bass. If I applied pressure to the top of it with my hand it would stop. Because of this I returned it and went with another brand.

This subwoofer is untouchable in this price range. Honestly, amazing for the price point. I had one setup in my HT room and it was great. I liked it so much that I ordered this second one when going through some updates and changes to the HT room. Bass is accurate and deep. Plays great at high volumes as well.I also use this for music when having people over because its at the end of the basement, and play youtube music videos on it. I would def recommend this if your looking for an awesome and loud subwoofer at a decent price range for your HT.

The media could not be loaded. The sound is great. Unfortunately it's junk. My subwoofer speaker stopped working. I was instructed by bic to take it apart to see the problem. I found the negative coil wire was detached. Poor soldering. This is the 3rd time. I have another unit. I resoldered and reinstalled. Lasted another week now the Amp is bad. Crap crap crap. Unless your gonna replace components yourself I recommend looking elsewhere.
