Large Upright Broom and Dustpan, Heavy Duty Dust Pan with 51" Long Handle for Indoor Outdoor Garage Kitchen Room (Black and Red)

I had 2 sets of brooms and stand up dust pans. They weren't the best quality. I have a helper come into my home periodically, because I'm a disabled veteran. I wanted something of higher quality to make her work easier.I ordered one set, because it looked like the dust bin was larger. I was very surprised when I opened the box. Not only is the dust bin larger, the opening is taller. It's got some weight to it. It weighs almost 2x as much as the set it's replaced. The stainless steel handle is a much better grade, and it's tall enough for a tall person to use (thank goodness!).The broom is likewise substantial compared to the old broom. It has the same quality of stainless steel. The plastic used on both pieces is much higher quality. This is a really nice set.I liked it so much, I ordered a second set for use upstairs. Both the broom and dust bin are tall enough for taller people.

good price. I had a dustpan for a long time then couldn't find it. A few days after ordering this one my son found it in his room. Never mind because "this" dust pan connects to the broom. It doesn't weigh as much as my comercial one. The broom is lighter weight than my other brooms. My old one is black, this one is a lovely shade of bluish green. Everything was easy to put together. While sweeping the mud room, after rain storms, lots of dirt was tracked in, while sweeping up the dust, grass particles, and a few goat heads, I noticed that with this broom and dust pan, the thin line of dirt on the floor after lifting was the smallest I have ever seen with any dustpan and just one more sweep removed it all. The whole set is quality including the light weight broom sized to fit in the dustpan perfectly.

I love this so much they only thing I noticed was the litter rubber strip on the dust pan isn't attached very well and idk now long it is going to stay on, I might have to glue it on. but other than that I love the set very much. The broom works great and the whole set is saving my back from bending over like I had to with my old dust pan

This broom and dustpan sets works great, is a nice color and design, functions well, easy to use, and a good value. The handles are a good length and sturdy. They brustles work just right for good cleaning, and have good weight of handles.

I only gave 5 stars because the broom sweeps okay, everything else on this Chinese dust pan set is a disaster ! So people will read the full review.I've used many of this type stand up dustpan over the years. I needed to replace a old one, so I looked and bought what I thought would be a sturdy set ,but this set is Not!The hype about handle length is overrated, as unless you are a giant, the pan and broom handles are too long. That's not what these stand up dust pan sets are about, if you want a full sized broom, buy one, not this.The dust pan itself, does not stand up properly, the long handle still has a forward tilt instead of being straight up. The dust pan does not self level when you pick the pan up like all others of this kind do, instead it is Very Stiff, and requires me to tip it to keep from spilling ,by hand, which defeats the purpose of this type of dustpan. It is SUPPOSED to tip so the trash goes back into the depths of the pan to keep from spilling out the front again. The handle where its supposed to screw into the dust pan has almost no threads, so that connection is very iffy. Will require glue to remain "screwed in", like I said the plastic part on the pan has almost no threads.The ONLY good point I've found is the broom 🧹 seems to do a good job of sweeping debris, the bristles are plentiful and work well. Don't know if they will fall out soon, as several posts here say the do. Also the Broom is to wide for the pan, you bend the end bristles putting the broom in the pan for storage, which again is a bad design.The handle pole material is extremely thin metal, and won't take much to kink or bend, and with all the joint sections of both handles, I'm not very confident this pan and broom set will last many years as it's predecessor did. It all seems to come loose when sweeping, needing you to screw it back together a lot.I don't recommend this set, get another brand , pay a bit more, buy quality.

I purchased the black and red broom and "dust" pan set and received last night. I purchased because they looked larger than the ones I purchased in the past. I was correct. The broom is fantastic. Truly. It's sturdy and the size is perfect. Unfortunately, the "dust" Pan is a different story. Yes. It is large. To close it I had to to press it against the wall and use my foot, which is not ideal. I would need to out gloves on because I'm a germaphobe and can't touch it with my hands. Also, it does NOT pick up dust at all. Like. Not any. At $30 it's way too expensive to purchase for just the broom.I can't believe it is taking this much time and money to try and find a good broom and dust pan.
