The mess
I got this as my normal dye changed slightly and faded so quick so was trying out other ones to find a replacement. First of all, the colour is fantastic...stays in well and looks nice and shiny. But, with that said, the mess using this is unreal. I have the requisite gloves, cape etc. to deal with the hair dying...been doing my own for years and I'm pretty capable. The dye is runnier than I'm used to, again all fine...however my bath and shower tray will never be the same. It has stained everything. I used bleach on it right away, literally stopped the shower and got out when I saw the colour it was turning. Scrubbed for ages with bleach...still pale blue. Have tried at least 5 or 6 other cleaning methods to lift it but it's still stained. So I won't be purchasing again as I don't want to use half a ton of bleach and be scrubbing for hours every single time I dye my hair...the nice colour is just not worth it. The search for a new dye continues...

Nice. Nice nice
I used this product with another colour and my hair colour came out so pretty. I have used this product before and intend to continue to use it. The only thing is you will need to top up the colour every month because after a few washes after a month the colour fades. Also I would put a towel down on your pillow for at least a week after coloring your hair as the colour would rub off on my pillow. But washed out of the pillows when the went through the machine

Literally stained everything besides my hair
Unless you're planning to get this hair dye out with a hose pipe outside safe from everything, I do not recommend. My bathtub is now very blue, alongside my skin that had the water touch it when washing the dye out. Followed instructions meticulously, just to be hit in the face with hardly-modified hair and intense staining in my bathtub that I've been vigorously scrubbing with various products to no avail

Great
Bought for my wife, the colour is very pigmented which is great. It was easy to spread over the hair, she used it on dry hair. The only issue she had was that it wasnt as deep red as she first thought, it was very pink in fact but overall happy with it. Her hair looks soft and shiny since using it too

SOME FREE ADVICE
Alright Ya'll- I have my cosmo license, and have spent majority of my life looking for the most bang for my buck as far as my own personal hair color goes. I was blessed with the most versatile natural hair to color- platinum blonde (I was tow headed as a child). The only downside? I HATE my natural haircolor, it washes me out SO much. I've spent HUNDREDS of dollars trying everything from lime green to black to various balayage, and all of it was OKAY, but after years of searching, I discovered that a natural ginger looks best on me.The only problem? A natural looking ginger at home is INCREDIBLY difficult to not only achieve, but also to maintain. So here I am, giving away my secrets. This Adore Ginger is an absolute go-to. It sets a wonderful base- its a bit more red-toned than a natural ginger, [picture #1] but that quickly fades in about 3 washes (Red has the largest color molecules and leaves the pores in your hair the quickest- ProTip.) Once that red fades, you're left with this GORGEOUS color that ALMOST passes as natural. ALMOST. From about 3 feet away, it looks like you were born with it. Any closer, and you start to notice some green tinging that is NOT so natural. [picture #2]So to combat greenish tones and give you that little extra OOMPH that you need for that complete natural look, pair ADORE GINGER with a HENNA natural dye (thats right). I STRONGLY recommend The Henna Guy's Orange/Red (its available on amazon for about $15 a pack, you'll get roughly 4-8 dyes out of it depending on your hair length)- this will help your roots look naturally ginger as they grow out while blending into your ADORE base. Use the henna every 2-3 weeks all over your hair to refresh your color, combat the greenish tinging, and keep it SILKY soft and natural looking. The henna smells horrible, especially in comparison to how amazing the ADORE smells, but TRUST ME ON THIS. [picture #3]I've used this technique for over 2 years, and I get asked on a weekly basis if "thats my natural hair". The fresh color between these two is STUNNING, and the fade out not only takes FOREVER with this combination, but looks even MORE natural with time. The henna will wash out well after the ADORE does, and if you keep alternating, not only will you have a GORGEOUS natural ginger for as long as you want, but the money you'll save on skipping the salon is worth it in itself- I'm always down to help clients learn things on their own because everyone's tastes are different, and your vision might differ from your stylist's vision when it comes to color. Also, we are in a pandemic, no one wants to spend $100+ on a color that requires upkeep the way ginger does.I've tried to do this with many other dyes, products, and brands, but the only acceptable base is ADORE Ginger- I will never stop using this line of products and strongly recommend them to anyone who wants rich color with minimal damage. 10/10 FOR SURE.
