I wanted a small double toilet for my single serve cooking. This works perfectly.

Made some gummy bears using this double boiler. I love the long padded handle so I didn't burn myself taking this off the boiling water. Works great!

I used this the first time last night. It worked good, just wish the handle was a little longer. When you grab the handle to stir ingredients, your hand is pretty close to the hot pot and stove cap. Other than the short handle, works good.

I love this set. It made my candy making process so much easier and fun this year.

This add it easy to melt chocolate away from the stove. I just placed it on top of a bowl with hot water and it worked very well and very easy to clean.

This little double boiler is perfect for dipping candy centers in chocolate or coating. So many double boilers are large and shallow. For dipping, you need it to be deeper, both so you can fully submerge your candy centers (especially if they are round, like buckeyes), and so you don't have to melt a lot of extra chocolate.This little pot holds two cups (see photo with blue colored water). It sits nicely over a larger pot of water, and it has a pour spout on each side, so it can easily be used by lefties or righties.... in our house we have both.I used it to do both round PB centers and flat coconut patties, and I was very happy with the results. The included spatula is a perfect size and made of silicone.Unfortunately, I didn't get any photos of my actual dipping because I was in a time crunch. Next time, I'll try to video and add it to this review.

Green.This stainless-steel double boiler pot is a great little melting apparatus for small batch of butter or chocolate. It is light weight and the silicone-wrapped handle plus the pouring spout ensures safe handling and makes pouring a breeze. This pot is a good size for home use with a capacity of 600mL (a little over 2 cups).My only one notable is that I did find that the spatula to be a bit too short. As I was using it, I was able to feel the heat too close to my hand when stirring.Overall, it's a nice little functional double boiler. The silicone is well thought out and is simple enough to use even for younger cooks. With a 6" inner bowl diameter, and a maximum length (including handle) of 11", it can be used for pots up to 7"; any larger than that and the amount of usable handle probably gets a little to short to be fully safe.
