This book was ordered and delivered to my granddaughter who lives 500 miles away. Shipping was much cheaper than driving, but I would have preferred being with her for her birthday. OK, it wasn’t wrapped, but I think that could have been arranged. She loves the book.

So far it’s been a good read for adding some creative thinking to my writing process!

Jules Horne's book is accessible, clearly written, and really, really helpful for fiction writers of all levels of experience.I've read a lot of books for writers in the past few years. This is one of the best.

Not only did I find this book extremely informative, but it was also a joy to read. It's a really detailed guide on how to use specific techniques to improve dramatic writing, backed-up by the theory behind these techniques. It's written in an easy-to-read style, so it's easily digestible, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to write a play or script and improve their dramatic technique.
