Happy Dogs!
I am on a subscription for this. It's a great food but it is hard to get sometimes. The stores have the same issue. Amazon always delivers or finds it fast for me. Great food. The price doesn't fluctuate too much like other brands. My doggies are happy campers.

My favorite ever
Both of my dogs are picky eaters; they love this stuff. Better than any of the more expensive brands, good packaging, great value. Im pretty obsessive with supplementing kibble but I’ve noticed an improvement in desire to eat, coat health, and energy levels - my absolute favorite brand of kibble yet!

Dog food
Good dog food. My lab has allergies and this dog food helps with his food allergies being grain free. I feed it to my german shepard now too.

we are very very happy with this new dog food Call of the Wild
This is Antoinette Jackson. I am writing to let you know of the new change in our dogs FOOD. WE had been on Canada Day through ALL our Goldens, and I was a breeder at one time and always swore by Canidae our dogs got nothing else no other dog food and all that time. It has been well over 15 years Well there’s been a change and it’s a distinct change. We noticed that our seven year old Golden male had begun eating bowls of Canidae dog food more than triple the AMOUNT. We carefully watched this for four solid months. It seemed like he was eating cardboard or sawdust, there seemed to be nothing in the food nutritionally because he never seemed to get full and the more we put in the more he ate. THIS has never been true for our dog and we began thinking something is very strange with the Canada. They’ve been changing the size, the bags, they’ve been changing a lot of things and whatever they have done is not beneficial - not at all. Meanwhile, a beautiful, black and white cat has since made our home his and we wondered what kind of food we should start giving him, After much discussion and talking with reputable feed and animal stores, WE went with CALL OF THE WILD SALMON for the CAT. The cat seemed to thrive on it. His coat became beautiful and shiny and he was gaining weight. Plus he likes the food. Now back to our Golden, we decided that we would put Mauna Kea also on CALL OF THE WILD the Buffalo and VENISON. WE were able to get a 38 pound bag and for as much as Mauna Kea was eating with Canidae and going through food like it was a water. WE found that we aren’t doing any worse for the cost with call of the wild even though it is more expensive. This is the first week so we’re weaning him over seven days and we have noticed a big difference in how much food he is eating because now he’s getting real nutritional value. I put in 1 cup of the Call of The Wild 1 cup of the Canadae. He no longer eats like he’s starving to death, and there’s still food left in his bowl, which was never the case with Canadae the past 4 months. During this time we also took MaunaKea to his vet for a thorough check up. Which was several hundred dollars. He of course, came out with a clean bill of health, no worms, no anything just a HEALTHY golden retriever. I don’t know how to get through to Canada on an email, but I certainly do hope that you will take note of this and pass it on to the people who should be aware of it. Canidae has left us with a great big disappointment in our lives because we really relied on it. AS a matter of fact when we moved back to Hawaii on the BIG ISLAND where we owned a home they had never heard of it. WE HAD TO ALWAYS SPECIAL ORDER it. BY the time we left years later everybody was coming in and buying it, and they always had it on stock they said it was one of their biggest sellers. Mahalo Antoinette Jackson

Our New Dog Food, My Dogs LOVE This Stuff!
I fed my dogs the cheaper dog food for years. I had no idea that the food I was feeding them was substandard at best. I feel fortunate that neither dog has been sick with anything connected to their diet because I do know that some people aren't so lucky. Searching online for information about dog food that is a better quality, I started to hear things about Taste of the Wild so I decided to check the company and their product out. I didn't have to go very far past the ingredient label to know that this is the food that I should try first. Now, I have a 13 year old Siberian Husky that is one of the pickiest eating dogs on the planet. She will even turn her nose up at potato chips when they are occasionally offered to her. She picks the meaty looking chunks out of the dog food that they used to eat and eats those first. I had to start buying smaller bags of dog food because if the bag had been opened for a while, she would refuse to eat it. I always jokingly say she likes her dogfood like a lot of people like their seafood, as fresh as they can get it. My other dog is a simple idiot. He eats chicken poop and just about anything else that he can fit into his mouth including wood, her fur when she sheds and my flowers out front. Needless to say he is not a picky eater. I wasn't concerned with him not liking it but I was a bit worried what she would think. We went ahead and ordered our first bag of this dogfood. It was delivered on time just like Amazon always does and so we started the transistion from the old to the new by subtracting a bit more of the old with the new every day until they were finally completely switched over. They LOVE this food. Both of them. Even little Miss Picky. It got to the point where they were both actually eating AROUND the old food and leaving it in the bowl. This made me extremely happy because I know that the Taste of the Wild food is MUCH better for them. There is no grain in this food. The ingredients are simple and everyone should be familiar with them. It actually smells good and doesn't have that mealy look to it like the cheaper brands that are full of corn and soy. Neither dog has had any bathroom issues which I know is a concern for some people that are worried that there isn't any fiber in the food because it doesn't contain grain. That's what the veggie material is for. Veggies have fiber. I promise! You dog will have no problems pooping while eating this food because of lack of fiber. This is our new dog food for our two monsters. They are both healthy, happy and both seem to have a bit more energy. Their coats look good and I'm happy with the results.

Top five in every investigation.
Love this food for my boys. Ingredients are minimal and it is always recommended by online investigations into dog food. Amazon had a good sale and it was delivered in a timely manner.

Great value. Same as The Pet Shop at full price so always grab them when they’re on offer. Love providing my dog with different flavours for his dinner time so these smaller bags allow us to rotate his dinner flavours.

I have two Jack Russells, one of which has a particularly sensitive stomach, and food that’s too rich just doesn’t agree with him. Having had both my dogs on various different types of kibble over the years, most recently the excellent Acana Wild Prairie, I thought I’d try something else and various posters on the canine forums suggested Taste of the Wild dog food, which I hadn’t actually heard of. Some also suggested a spoonful of bran every day, so with that in mind I moved my dogs to Taste of the Wild Southwest Canyon in combination with some bog-standard wheat bran. The list of ingredients in Southwest Canyon was a factor in my choice as it contains zero grains, a good dose of fruits and vegetables, and quite a lot in the way of vitamins, including various B vitamins, vitamin D and folic acid. And although the kibble seems slightly smaller than Acana, it’s harder and my dogs have to crunch through it rather than swallowing it whole, as was sometimes the case. Both dogs wolf it down enthusiastically each time they’re given it, and often look for more once their bowls are empty. I’m not sure if it’s the size or constitution of Southwest Canyon (or just the bran) but, in the month or so that they’ve been on the new diet, my dogs’ stool has become much firmer than it ever was previously. I haven’t noticed any change in their disposition or overall health, but neither was ever a problem for me, and they seem as energetic and healthy as ever. They still get the odd upset stomach, but I’m pretty confident I can attribute this to those (very occasional) days when they get a meat meal rather than kibble. As an aside, I also tried them on Taste of the Wild’s Pacific Stream kibble, which seemed just as good for them but which they didn’t scoff with quite the same level of interest. That’s not necessarily a criticism of the food, but my dogs love fish and seafood-based kibble so I was surprised that they weren’t as keen on it as the meat variety.
