I love how medical this book looks. The graphics are detailed and really show the layers that make us human. Perfect for kids without being too boring or creepy. Just enough information, and artistic visuals make this a go-to in our homeschooling library. Another to pass down for generations to come.

I purchased this book as a follow--up to Botanicum, for our 17 years girl in preparation for Intermediate class XII exams. Biology/Botany/Zoology need to be studied, and these 2 books with diagrams make for easy understanding.

El libro estupendo pero el envío un desastre. Venia en una caja grande, lo cual está bien pero el libro no estaba protegido por lo que debió de viajar dando porrazos dentro de la propia caja. Las esquinas han llegado todas dobladas a pesar de ser un libro de tapa dura. Es una pena que un libro caro llegue así.

This book is stunning and it's full of great information but not too much information so that smaller kids won't be overwhelmed with information when learning from this book. I bought it for my 8 year old son as one of his Christmas books. Now...in the review section I noticed many parents are losing their minds over the tiniest bit of nudity about the male/female reproductive system in the very very back of the book. What is so wrong with your children learning about THEIR BODY PARTS? It's in the book to teach everyone including kids about their reproductive system what's so wrong with that? You bought the book as an educational tool to teach your kids but apparently y'all don't want them to learn about their own bodies. Make it make sense, these kids need to learn these things even from a young age.
