I’ve used Pacifica sugared fig lip tint for as long as I can remember but the price tripled recently. I decided to give this Burt’s Bees lip tint a shot and I love it. It’s very hydrating and the tint is subtle but has staying power. It has a faint pleasant scent, as well. I’ll be buying again and I’d recommend for sure.

As you can see by my photo’s I am older at 63yrs of age and very light skinned. Also with freckles as you can see one up above my lip and many across my nose as shown in my 3rd photo. I was very impressed with this Burt’s Bees, SWEET VIOLET Lip Tint. 1st I like how they secure the cover into place and make it easy to remove by just pulling on a white tag as you can see I referred to in my 2nd photo. The cap itself stays securely on but not so much as to make it hard to pop off when needed. Then you apply to your top & bottom lips, and it goes on quite smoothly with little to no effort to apply, even if you’re not in front of a mirror. Please see the final result for me in my 4th photo. While it’s subtle, the tint does, in my opinion brighten my skin, make my lips look less dry and actually look more natural. I feel it also compliments my skin tone due to the fact I am so light and anything darker would either make my skin look washed out or too brassy. It also feels like I am moisturizing my lips. I have very dry skin, hair and lips, therefore this tint is beneficial to moisturizing my lips and keeping them in a fine condition like I would use conditioner for my hair or Moisturizing Lotion for my skin. I am totally hooked on Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm in Sweet Violet! The color is just perfect for my fair skin, it is a soft, natural plum that adds a subtle pop without being too much. It gives my lips a fresh, pretty tint that is perfect for daily wear, and it feels so light and comfortable. It is super moisturizing too!! I love that my lips stay soft and hydrated all day long without feeling heavy or sticky!

Can’t find anymore at Drug store or Walmart, so happy to find on Amazon

love this product but it is hard to find the colour selection in the stores around me - are they discontinuing it? Anyhow ordered lots to last me a while:)
