Edit: I had to go ahead and update my review because I contacted the seller, who offered to refund the product for me, which was unexpected because it had been 6 months. That was awesome and made my day. We loved it at first, could plug it in and just use the remote to turn it on, change the settings, colors, timer. It was awesome. But it stopped wanted to stay plugged in. we tried different cords but no, it is the night light. And a set of batteries in the thing only last 3 hour. I'd have it set for one hour at bed time every night and that's a whole new set of batteries every 3 days! It would make sense if I let my kid play with this thing, but it stayed on the dresser out of her reach! I never moved it. It just decided not to work anymore.

After 4 years of use. For goodness sake!!! After dropped and baby play abused it drop and drop again and it didn’t break. Replace the battery or hook it up it run like new. I don’t believe it. I am so amazed so i just want to give you all the stars this product can get. My baby like love it for all years thank you so much.

My niece has this in her room and uses it every single night. She loves the colors and the timer. It's easy to move and portable. Great quality for the money spent on it. Highly recommend.

The light started misfiring just after a couple weeks of use. If turned on certain colors, it starts blinking like a strobe. It’s happened in the middle of the night and TERRIFIES my 3 year old sending him running out of his room crying. I’ve purchased this light FOUR times. Once for my oldest son’s room. Then a second time when his broke after about a year. His replacement wouldn’t turn on unless I set the timer first (which isn’t how it’s supposed to work). I then bought one for my youngest son’s room which wouldn’t even turn on. And finally this one. I don’t know what I was thinking, but what a waste of money. Save yourself the frustration and go with a different listing!

I bought this items for my daughter for Christmas. She Ioved it. The fact that it could be plugged in via power or use battery is a bonus. Even if the batteries dont last super long. It works well in a pinch. My only issue with it, is after having it for 3 months the green light had flickered out and now at 4 and a half months, the blue light is failing also. We set the timer for 1 hour a night, for when she falls asleep. Which doesnt seem like excessive use or anything like that. I'd understand if we had it on all night every night. That would make sense to me. Definitely a cool item. Just beware of the potential lifespan of the item itself.
