Almost perfect...
Tldr: well-made, cute terrarium with horrible, malicious door prop. Would buy again, 9.15/10.I really like this terrarium -- it is cute and well-made, and I like how wide the door is (ie, half the roof) bc it makes it much easier to manipulate things in the enclosure. The glass doesn't feel thin or cheap -- you know what I'm talking about, when it feels like freakin eggshell -- not so with this item.I have just one gripe: that damn prop... arm? Leg? Strut?... whatever it is, I am not a fan. First of all, the door stays open on its own if you open it all the way, so for my purposes the prop is unnecessary. But the real issue is the damn thing *will not* stay folded! It just flops around all over the place, getting in the way, poking my plants and generally annoying the snot out of me. I tried tightening the little socket it sits in -- no dice. There is no aesthetic way of keeping it in place when you have it folded up. I finally just gave up and removed it. Much better! One important thing to note: this is NOT watertight in the least. I don't consider this a negative point bc the seller is clear that it is not, so I expected to have to modify it bc I do need something that will hold water -- I use this enclosure as a mini-greenhouse/ enclosed humidity tray. I used clear aquarium-safe silicone and sealed up the "seams". Works perfectly!

After a recent trip to Jerusalem I finally figured out what all those window boxes were. And of course after October 7th I needed to step up my game and move our menorah from the window to the outside. This provides just enough space to burn 3 hour shabbos candles. The glass almost magnifies the light. No one misses this and no one mistakes it for anything other than a menorah.Oh, a terrarium? I dunno. I guess so. It withstood a good soot scrubbing and I can’t see anyone putting a terrarium through that much abuse. It’s easy to see what is in it and the glass would certainly let in enough sun light. But as a menorah housing it shines, no pun intended.Am Yisroel Chai.

Love it!
Totally worth it! It's so pretty and seems to be pretty sturdy as well.

VERY poor quality
Ordered as christmas gift but was not unpacked til mid January. It's only ben in use for just under 2 months and already falling apart. The door has come off and cannot be put back on.

Cute but small
I knew the size when I ordered this but it definitely feels smaller. I got this for a 4" Maidenhair Fern and the fern was too big. I will say the quality is MUCH better than a similar size one I got at a big box store where you have to put everything together. I did seal the bottom with aquarium silicone and added a plastic tray before putting in rocks to keep the humidity. Definitely would not recommend NOT putting a tray or sealing the bottom, it will leak.

Nice size
I like this for young plants that need humidity. Can actually get your hands in the terrarium and have several small plants. Seems sturdy too.

Base isn't watertight
It's a great size and shape, but the base isn't watertight. So if you use it for plants other than cacti, be careful when watering them. Better yet, get some silicone sealant and properly seal it.
