My brother uses so much different products in his hair, it's rather ridiculous. I have been looking for a cruelty-free, high-quality, natural styling clay for my brother to use and I believe I found it in Smooth Viking Styling Clay! After using this product for a week, my brother won't leave it alone. He likes to do those pompadours and retro styles using this stuff and I am amazed at how well it keeps all day! A little goes a long way with this product, it's so thick you got to rub it in your hands to warm it up a bit and when you do, it becomes like a sticky liquid. The smell reminds me of a floral Elmer's Glue. (A clay is a clay, I suppose!) So if you are someone who doesn't like that kinda smell, I'd recommend something else or at the very least, use a little of this because it can overwhelm you. (The first time my brother used it, when he'd walk by..I'd get a huge whiff of the stuff!) It's a very concentrated styling clay and despite the smell, it works wonders for getting those looks on point! My brother had mentioned that the smell is well worth it, because he loves how well it holds his hair and how it doesn't give off shine. The matte finish is what really sold him! It's Pliable and durable and the 2oz container is actually pretty generous! I have noticed some volume in my brothers hair, as well. The texture and the thickness of the clay must create that extra va-voom! I am impressed and so is my brother. Hey Guys...this is hair stuff for guys. It's not a topic we often like to discuss. I can say however, behind the protection an anonymity that this stuff works really well. Just a little bit goes a long way for a guy like me who has short hair and doesn't want to mess around much with sprays and sticky gels works really well. Basically...I want to spend about 30 seconds getting ready for work after I'm done getting my kids ready and this stuff does the trick. I'd say it works as well as the one other brand I've tried and for about $10 less per container. Hair stays in place all day long and allows me to make minor corrections throughout the day if needed (sometimes I just need a splash of water on my hands). One of my major concerns in purchasing this product (other than having to purchase a hair thing) was there were several comments about the smell. I think this is my third go around with this product and the first two I had did not have much of a scent to them. The newest container however has a much stronger smell. It's definitely more of an "old-school" musk type smell rather than the Axe Sprays (which generally smell like hot garbage and lilacs) but I wouldn't say it is bad. It also doesn't last very long either so I wouldn't say it is a big deal. I'd question the factory workers or machine that puts the manly musk in each container for consistency but again, not a reason not to buy it. Honestly, I'm not sure a 4 rating or a 5 ratings really means much except that I'm not being paid to provide feedback on this product. Maybe some more consistency with the manly smell of this very unmanly item would get it to the 5 atmosphere. Overall, good product at a great price. At the end of the day, it's hair stuff for dudes so let's not be too serious about it.

So I've tried many matte finish strong hold hair products from pasts, pomades to creams and clays. My hair is 2" long and very fine. Clays seem to work the best for me and I heard a lot about Smooth Viking's Strong hold matte finish clay so I thought I'd give it a try. After about 3 weeks of use, here are my thoughts. Matte Finish: Five Stars Is it matte finish? Yes! It's one of the better matte finish products I've used. As I'm rubbing it in my hair, it instantly disappears. Meaning there is no shine at all. It gives me a very soft matte finish look which is what I'm going for. Strong Hold: One Star Let me just say again I've been trying a lot of "strong hold matte finish" products and I can understand why it's hard to get a combo of both features in one. Usually a strong hold will come from a gell or pomades but they'll also leave you with a shiny look which is not what I want. With that said, I will say this particular product did not hold my hair at all. As I put it in my hair it would instantly harden before I could even style it and then 30 minutes later my hair would fall as if nothing were in it. I wouldn't even call it a medium hold. In comparison with some other "strong hold" clays, I would have to say it's a light hold. Unfortunately I cannot use this product as I need a strong hold for my hairstyle. Customer Service: Five Stars Their customer service is awesome. If you have any problems with their products, they'll help you out fast. I bought it to give to my husband and he liked it very much, it leaves a hard texture to the hairstyle and has a soft and delicious aroma.

Perfetta odore molto buono niente a che vedere con il solito odore di vaniglia, cocco ecc... tiene tutto il giorno e non fissa i capelli ma li modella con effetto opaco che non da la sensazione di capello sporco. Si applica bene e si lava facilmente . Provata su capelli corti-medi .
