Salt relief
A cardboard box containing five epsom salt compresses. These are for relief from pain and the like, plus edema and swelling, if you have bruises, postpartum stitches and hemorrhoids. Each of them comes in a wrapping that has to be cut or torn off. And they're a one time only thing. You should not get them near the eyes, and they are not for kids either. Unless you're the one doing the treating. They are 33% magnesium sulfate. You apply them to affected area. For twenty to thirty mins. And then once used, you bin them.In practice on a bruise, this did work well. And did leave it and me a bit better. So it's a long process, but worth it.I can't comment on price though because it currently shows as not currently available on the product listing. So if it ever does come back, maybe we can fully judge it then. But in the meantime, a capable product.

Did nothing for me
I have a painful hip and thought I would try these pads as anything that would help would be welcome.First off I wasn't impressed with these pads. They are very wet and the liquid ran everywhereI laid on my side and placed one on my hip.The liquid ran down my leg and on to the bed and left salt crystals everywhere it sat.I left it on for the recommended 30 minutes and it was still quite wet and I had no relief from pain or discomfort whatsoever.I definitely would not buy these

No noticeable effect
Whilst these are pretty easy to use, I wanted to try and reduce swelling in my ankles, and it's not really the best shape to do this unless you're able to keep your legs up and flat. I don't know what's in them exactly but I handles it with a small cut on one finger and the pain was akin to using hand sanitizer on a paper cut!I didnt find the first one made any difference at all, but I'm going to put the rest in the fridge which I think will feel awesome in hot weather :)

Not meant for real extreme pain
I was quick looking forward to using these Epsom Salts Pads for my severe pain. I say severe because these just didn’t work on me. Judging by the reviews the pads do help some, but not someone with disabilities who relays solely on GP medication. So these are called pads? It isn’t a pad at all, it is a wipe, a bit like disposable baby wipes or hand gel wipes. The wipes are wet with some Epsom salts, but for me, just dried up and fell off. My pain hasn’t subsided at all.I have Osteoarthritis all over my back, hips, elbows and fingers. My back also has a curved spine and Spondylitis L4/5.. since my operation, my back is full of nuts, bolts and metal plates.I have gone through the pads/wipes now, and for me a waste of time. I gave three stars because it is a good idea for many with lesser pain perhaps..The simple way is to buy Epsom salts in a big tub and have a bath in it, or buy your own dry wipes, and soak in Epsom salts. To use these pads/ wipes continuously will cost a lot.Epsom salts is a great healer just like salt healing wounds. Too much May make the area itch, so please be mindful to wash off any remnants before reapplying. I have an Epsom salt bath 2-3 times a week. Epsom salts in the shower is great, just mix with your own shower gel.As I said I like the idea, but not enough Epsom salts on the pads to do a lot for someone with extreme pain.⭐️Thank you to the seller⭐️I hope my review helps you

Useful epsom salt pads
Rather than using epsom salts in water, there are a very useful alternative.Just take the pad and use it for up to an hour then dispose of the pad to get a similar but more local relief, similar to that using epsom salts in a bath or foot bath etc.Arrived well packaged, and very easy to use.

Magnocare
Interesting - not the huge success I had hoped for but cooling, soothing and relaxing. I really enjoyed using this on an aching ankle and felt like it was a little bit of self care. No real dramatic improvement that I noticed sadly, but I will use them again.Good quality, well packaged, well made and recommended.

Reasonably effective Epsom salt pads
I used these pads for haemorrhoids and they provided reasonable relief from the pain. They are fairly wet though, so I would advise only putting them on when not out and about, as they do soak through clothing.

The jury is still out….
My understanding of Epsom salt is that when it’s dissolved in water, it releases magnesium and sulfate ions. The idea is that these particles can be absorbed through your skin, providing you with magnesium and sulfates — which serve important bodily functions. However, the limited amount of research I’ve done suggests that there is no good evidence to support the suggestion that magnesium or sulfates can be absorbed into your body through the skin. Most people I know who have used Epsom salt usually sprinkle it into their hot bath water to help them relieve their aches and pains - but of course, the hot water itself can help ease pain - so is the salt actually doing anything? My wife recently had an accident climbing out of the shower, which resulted in some bruising and light swelling. She did try a couple of these pads but didn’t really notice any benefit - no discernible decrease in the swelling, no easing of the pain. Yesterday, I went metal detecting on a steep hillside for a few hours, and ended up with some pain in my right knee. When I got home I applied one of these pads as instructed on the packet, but the process didn’t appear to make any difference. These pads may work for some people but they sadly didn’t do anything for our ailments. Taking into account the negative experiences of my wife and myself, this is not really a product I can recommend.
