Corvette Stingray: The Seventh Generation of America's Sports Car Hardcover – January 15, 2014

I just bought a Series 7 Corvette and was interested in the development of this series. The book provides a very interesting description of how the new series of the Corvette came to be; the Corvette's history, the C-7 design, engineering, marketing and manufacturing. The book is illustrated with beautiful sketches and photographs of the car, the factory and the Corvette Museum. I couldn't put it down. It gave me a completely new perspective on my Corvette. This book is a must read for anyone interested in "America's Sports Car."

This is THE book to read if you own or have interest int he C7 Corvette. Out of print so anything found will be used. My book was described as 'good' condition. Edges of my binding are completely worn through, pages were creased in and deformed 20 at a time. Outside paper cover is chewed up. I expected more from purchasing off Amazon and why I did not go to eBay. While I recommend this book, get actual pictures of the book prior to purchase. I over paid.

This if a book that I have been waiting for since I first heard about it in September. Just received it a week ago with a damaged dust cover. That did not sit well with me because I do not discard books like these after I've read them. The box that it came in was torn up as if it had been attacked by an upset dog. Back to the book-Good information, color stills, and representation of the C7. If you are aCorvette fan this has good coverage concerning the whole story about the Stingray from the beginning through the completion ofboth the coupe and the convertible.

This is a great history of the C7 development. Full of pictures and behind the scene discussions on the cars development. I learned alot about it!

It's nice to see a C7 in a dealers showroom or on the road and say WOW!!!!!! what a car. But what does anyone know about how this masterpiece of engineering design and function came to be? This book sums it up with a simple statement........."ALL YOU WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT THE C7 BUT DIDN'T KNOW WHERE TO LOOK"! So if you want to know how it began as an idea to the first production car off the Bowling Green assembly line, this IS the book.! The words definitely compliment the pictures. A must have for any C7 owner or wanna be owner. I waited over 4 months to get this book and it was worth the wait.

Good pictures and an interesting book!

This is an outstanding book for Corvette enthusiasts. It covers all aspects of the C7 with outstanding pictures and writing. The information is great and helps one appreciate the C7 much more. It is a very interesting and enjoyable book.

This book is a nice addition to a corvette library. Tells all about the development of the new car. Based on the info I bought a real one. great car!!!If you're into Corvette history this book is somewhat flawed i.e. "the 1957 Corvette significant feature 250 hp fuel injection" the 283 hp fuely and the 4spd tranny and positraction are what the 57 is known for. Lots of little stuff like this ,but otherwise a good buyJim Pfister

Whether you own a C7 Generation Corvette, or simply want to read the truly amazing story behind creating an "affordable Super car"... then this is the book for you. Beautifully illustrated and well written, this is a MUST HAVE for the car enthusiast. It honestly does make one proud that this technology is produced in North America and that these cars can run side by side with cars costing 5 times as much as they do. I highly recommend it for EVERYONE. Well done!!!

I am fascinated by the new C7 Corvette. I own a C6 convertible and everything I have read say this new model is way ahead of the C6. The book is OK but what I would have liked is more information on the finished car, pictures of the interior and more glamour shots of the production car. Overall its not a bad book with lots of information on the start stop progress of this new Vette.

While I was waiting for delivery of my C7 I read this book from cover to cover more than once. When I picked up the car I had a greater appreciation of the masterpiece that this car is.
