The best wireless option for kayak
The media could not be loaded. Love this trolling motor! It is an amazing addition to my perception outlaw 11.5. For anyone with a larger sit on top kayak that supports a little weight should definitely look into this product. It was easy to install just a few things I needed to get to mount the motor to the rear of my kayak and I had it ready to go in a few hours. I don’t have a trailer to transport so I needed a motor that I could dismount when going and coming from the lake without the head ache and this motor gives me that option just a pull of a pin and I can load the motor up quick and easy. The performance is nothing short of amazing. My 12V 55AH battery keeps it powered for hours (4-5) so I’m able to cover a lot of water and get to places I normally couldn’t. Best purchase I’ve made in a long time!

Wish I'd had this decades ago!
This motor has thus far exceeded all of my expectations. The mounting instructions are a little thin but if you look at the pictures carefully they make sense. Because the bow on my Smokercraft is curved, i had to make a base plate to fit the contour, but since this was a replacement for my old Motorguide, i knew that going in. The motor swivels very smoothly and has something like 8 speeds so you can really dial in your speed. I trolled for 3 hrs yesterday, in the wind, and my battery never went below 12.5 volts, so it is easy on power usage. The quick release mount works very well. You pull the U pin and lift the entire unit off. It holds the motor to the baseplate very snuggly, without vibration. The remote control works great. You can walk around the boat while maneuvering. For me that is a MAJOR plus and the reason I bought this unit. You are not tied to the bow all day. You can make speed and course adjustments while changing lures, grabbing some coffee or untangling a line. The controller is simple to use, light, comes with a lanyard, and is rechargeable. The motor lifts out of the water easily, locks into the stowed position very positively and locks tight without wiggling around. Make sure you control the head unit when you step on the release pedal, it literally springs into action! I think i may add a lanyard to it to ease it down. The motor runs VERY quietly, particularly at lower speeds, which honestly is all i have needed. It's 55 lb thrust pushes my 16 ft Smokercraft along with engine and all my gear very easily. I am very happy with this unit.

Good trolling motor, customer service is hard to reach
Works great. I have used it about 100 hours in salt water and it hasn't shown any sign of problem. The remote control could be a little better, as it does lose contact with the motor from time to time. It's aggravating, but a press of the reset button fixes it. The motor deploys very well and retracts easily. It's well balanced. It's quiet. It pushed my 18 foot Sundance Skiff very well, even against the current. I think it will last a while. I purchased a cover for it to protect it from the FL weather.UPDATE: After 11 months, the motor had problems, and I requested a replacement. It arrived in about a week. There is a problem, however, I inadvertently sent back my quick release bracket when I returned my old motor. Trying to get a new bracket has been difficult. Communicating with Aquosworld is frustrating. In this age of emails, their answers take a day. Worse yet, they arrive in the middle of the night. If I need to reply the following day, I won't receive a reply until the day after. Very frustrating. No phone number you can call. They need to up their game in Customer Service. I've been waiting for a reply on the quick release for two days.

Big enough to move my deck boat!
When I was shopping around for a trolling motor, the biggest desires I had were quality and ability to move my deck boat, which is relatively heavy. I'm pleased at how well this 55 lb thrust motor does at moving my 20 foot hurricane deck boat around. So far, I've used it 4 times and one of those was against some stiff winds and it had no issues moving me around. Easy to use remote with some nice features like instant "full speed" button and easy variable speeds. No reverse other than spinning motor completely around, but that works too. The motor responds to remote inputs quickly and overall, it's pretty quiet. The left and right turn motor is a bit noisy, but not enough to spook the fish. Smooth and quiet drive motor. The quick release is really nice and easy to pop off my bow. The only thing I think is lacking is a quick connector for the electrical battery connections. But I ordered a connector kit for under $10 and that's an easy update to make the motor a ten second removal from the bow. While it doesn't have some of the spot lock features that the higher end models have, I've found I can control it pretty well and hold a spot without adding the extra $1K in price. All in all, very happy with it.

Good
Arrived way earlier than was supposed to so that's a plus, all in all looks an feels like a will decently made trolling motor, only thing left now is to test it out on the water

Works Great
PROs Easy to use works outstanding. I would/have definitely recommend it to others. CONs. Motor Stops often when water thrust connects with bow(not prop), all you have to do is restart it. When mounted a lot of breakable plastic hangs out in front of Bow of boat.
