After using the foodsaver vacuum sealer, I was told chamber has various advantages, such as the ability to seal juice and no need for more expensive embossed bags. I wanted to try it. Most chamber machines are expensive, large and heavy, and i can't imagine putting a giant like that on my kitchen countertop. This chamber sealer seems to be the perfect solution to all the above problems. It is compact, and the overall height after opening the lid is only about 16 in. so it can be easily placed in a kitchen cabinet when it is closed.Another thing I have to mention is that it can also do external vacuum. I happen to have some foodsaver rolls left, so I tried to customize the length of the vacuum bag. It worked perfectly! The vacuum speed is also faster than I expected! The bag shrinks and then the sealing comes, which is faster than the full-time suction vacuum sealer. I am very satisfied with this product!

I've been using mine for about six months now. Awesome little sealer. I really enjoy the dual sealing capabilities. The chamber works extremely well for liquids as well. I've found if you push the air bubbles out of the bag before closing the lid you can eliminate that ~quarter sized air pocket if you just use the smart vac. The marinate function is awesome as well. I make pickled things about six times as fast. Really has helped me create good ready to eat meals that I can freeze for my wife and kids when I go out to sea.

Had no instruction manual. Looked used. When I attempted to use, it kept giving an error code. I have requested a replacement. I hope it works! The replacement showed up, but can’t return used one as the local UPS site said I had to go to an actual UPS store. Couldn’t change the way to return it. Stuck with cost of two. Very disappointed

I bought this to replace the food saver I had owned for many years. Figured it was time to upgrade. The chamber vac feature was nice for packaging smaller pieces like chicken legs, quail, small steaks. It was nice but then it started acting funny. It wouldn't complete a vacuum cycle, it would turn off on its own and just failing in general. I hadn't owned it even a year and used it less than a dozen times before it totally stopped working. I contacted the people with the added protection plan I purchased with the unit and they had me mail it in. A couple days later I was told via email it couldn't be fixed and I was reimbursed for the cost of the unit. I think I am going to go with a different machine this time.

I purchased this to replace my old (and broken) vacuum sealer. This one is large...and heavy. It is also a workhorse that does not have the same issues as many of the older vacuum sealers. Also, since it uses more generic sealer bags (which are much less expensive) then I am seeing increased savings with it's use. You won't go wrong with this one, and the product is as advertised!

it works good but the sealer sometimes dont close the bag the first try, anyway good for sealing with liquids

After wasting money on cheaper vac seal machines that didn’t do the job, I decided to step up to this one. So glad I did because it works great. Fast and efficient

Ever watch a cooking competition program where the contestants run over to the chamber vacuum to marinade something quickly, and the machine goes "fwap!" and in a second the bag with food and liquid contents are nicely sealed? Yeah, this isn't that.This is more like a slower, louder Food Saver but with a chamber option. Three stars because it does seal in food and it can manage liquids without sucking any into the system, and Food Saver isn't very good at that (a photo after sealing bags using Vesta with a paper towel soaked in water, and with just water included).Three stars means "It's okay." That's how I feel about it.
