These pens are awesome but it writes a little bit bigger than I expected. I got these pens because I was hoping they'd be like the Staples pen from America that I have but they don't write the same despite being the same size. The ink is very black though, and while it does smudge its not very often. I really recommend this product for highschool students!

Brilliant pens but no good in a dusty environment as nib will not retract

I am used to ballpoint pens. The ink in this is very BLACK, flows well and dries relatively quickly. I also like a broad tip but having since used the 0.7mm, I find the 1mm a little too broad. Great price. Yet to see how they fair with rain and wet paper but they write vertically for some time

These are great pens. Easy to write and comfortable to use.

Has side clip to grip with book or papers. 7. Refill is same as that for 30 Rs 0.7mm pentel pen . Cons 1. Little Big in diameter than pentel 30 Rs Pen . 2. Expensive 3. Not water proof Over all I ll give 8 out of 10 .

smooth writing

This is identical to the blue ink version that I also reviewed. To save you time looking it up, I am re-posting that review here. I am an 'old school' left handed writer. Back in the day, lefties were forced to tilt their papers as a right handed person would, resulting in having to write with that curled around "upside down" wrist (if you are right handed, try writing with your paper tilted in the opposite direction). The problem with writing that way is that your hand drags across what you just wrote, causing smearing and your little finger covered with ink. Since it is too late to learn differently, I am forced to find a pen that does not smear. Well, this is it! The Pentel EnerGel is an improved version of the Pilot G2. The Pentel's ink dries faster (I couldn't smear it even when I tried) and the clip seems to be more resistant to breakage. The grip is scored and semi-flexible, making it comfortable to hold for long periods. The tip/nib is well designed - it allows the ink to flow freely while not depositing the occasional blob on your paper. It truly is a fine point pen, and not a medium point posing as a fine point. Be sure to read the instructions; there is a protective cap on the nib that must be removed prior to use. It still writes with protective cap on, just not very well (please, don't ask how I know.) This is a GREAT pen, and if you are looking for fast drying ink, look no further. Comfortable to hold and smooth writing, this pen is where my search will stop.

Work great! We've been using this brand for years and this is a great buy — much cheaper than the small packs available at the box stores.

Love these things. Sweet pens, easy roll, fine line, doesn't go through page on crosswords. Second pack of them, will buy again.
