I ordered a sample bottle and wasn't overly impressed. It goes on smelling a little too soapy. But as time goes on in becomes more of a natural clean smell with a slight floral effect. It lasts a long while and seems to be reinvigorated when I exert myself. Gentle smell, not too over powering.

Nice score here... got the 3.4oz (BIG) bottle for under $100. The 1.7oz had been running around $80 for only half the quantity! The sprayer on these ADP bottles are extremely generous, so the bottles don't go nearly as far as my Jo Malones of the same sizes. With the 3.4oz I should be set for a while on Colonia Intensa. Won't attempt to describe the scent as it is so subjective. But you probably wouldn't be buying the big bottle if you've never sampled it before anyway, unless you're getting it as a gift for someone who already likes it. I was hoping to decant some of the 3.4oz bottle to my older 1.7oz bottle for travelling (both are within the 3-1-1 TSA allowance, it's really just a matter of bulkiness for me as I travel as lightly as I can). Although the 1.7oz sprayer can be removed easily and non-destructively, the 3.4oz sprayer cannot due to a crimped metal shroud. Bottle dimensions are: 4.25in tall, 2.25in diameter.

Nice , fresh and subtle fragrance. Great to wear it all day. It is a one of the aspirational colognes for the evolved and the traditional gentleman of any age. I like it, although I wish it was a little more intense.

Very noticable perfume and long lasting (unlike the ordinary Eau de Toilet which is very short lived and weak) . Very expensive.
