Classy bright.
I bought a 12v lamp and needed some bulbs for these for my shed, runs on battery. These lights look real nice and are bright. So bright I'm forgoing other lights I had planned. They draw only about 4.8 watts, 0.3a each, which is fantastic for the light they put out. They won't waste battery power.I may look for a 120v version for house.

It is nice.
Arrived well packed and on time.I found out I need 3 volt and these are 12 so I will need to sort that out.But these seem well made and I think they are real glass.

Exactly as described in the description. No issues. They are DC lights
If people understood what direct current is, these bulbs would have the 5 stars they deserve. Not sure about longevity because I just finished up this project, but they do not burn out immediately. If you're in the United States and on the grid, you have 120V AC and these bulbs are not compatible with utility electricity, its clear in the description. These lights are hooked up to two series tied 12v solar panels going into a 24v DC battery feeding 487 feet of pathway light. No issues. No bulbs blew out. 100% of them function as expected. They are accurately enough ST64 bulbs, 2,700k @ 600LM. Pound for pound, the description is exactly what I recieved.

Not functional
As soon as I put them into the lamp, they blew out. Both bulbs in two different lamps.

Lovely 12v Bulb
This covers two kinds of bulbs:#1 Dark Glass with Spiral FilamentThe silver glass hides the filament nicely when the power is off, when the power is on it looks nice because you can clearly see the lit filament. No flicker whatsoever, even when dimming by lowering the voltage. (did the "shake test" and I filmed it using slo mo)I took some measurements:- at 8v draws near 0ma: barely begins to light- at 8.5v still draws near 0ma: becomes clearly visible in a dim room- at 9v draws 7ma: becomes pleasantly dim and decorative- at 9.5v draws 60ma: begins to display stronger light, still decorative and easy to look at- at 10v draws 180ma: much brighter and harder to look at- at 11v draws 300ma: very bright and hard to look at- 12v draws 280ma: same brightness(brightness level is the same from from 10.5 V to 12 V)--------#2 Long Straight FilamentsBeautiful old-school bulb with extra long straight filaments, rare in 12v bulbs.measurements:4.3v @ 80ma - barely lights up4.7v @ 100ma - dim and decorative4.9v @ 105ma - still easy to look at5v @ 120ma - much brighter5.3v @ 190ma - getting hard to look at6.0v @ 470ma - really bright7.0v @ 630ma - quite blinding9.0v @ 700ma - a little brighter10v @ 590ma - the brightest12v @ 480ma - same brightness

Functionally, great. Poor for marking what the bulb is
Ok, these bulbs work very well, have good output, fit in a standard edison fixture, and the color is as expected. Where the bulb falls short is in marking. NOWHERE on the package or on the bulb does it state that the bulb is 12 volts!!!! Thus, it can easily be accidentally placed into a 110 out let and that will blow the bulb!!!!If you buy these, immediately mark the bulb package if not used right away!! Also, ensure you mark your light fixture as being 12V so that no one accidentally puts in the incorrect bulb!!!

Classy Looking Bulb That Provides Good Light
First: I was thrilled to find these on Amazon: we have a local lighting store that has every kind of bulb known to man - except this one, that's designed for low voltage outdoor lighting systems. (We use the "regular" LED Edison Bulbs above our kitchen island). We put these in our post light next to our patio - and it looks great and lights the area well. I know it's just a bulb, but hey, it's the little things that make life better!
