I received these knives in April, and I still love them. We do not not put them in the dishwasher, because the packs says it’s not recommended. So far we haven’t had an issue with them. The only thing that we don’t like is the quality of the scissors. I still gave it 5 stars, because we don’t even use the scissors for food.

We bought the Living Kit knives for everyday use here at home. They are absolutely the best knives we've ever had. They sharpen easily and clean up in a jiffy. I reccomend these to anyone looking for a quality set of knives

Scissors broke after 1st day. One use, looks like the black snap on one side is missing.

I purchased this set like a year ago, I thought they would not last but they are super sharp and durable after cooking almost everyday they still holding up. Super easy to clean, [Do not put them on dishwasher is not recommended it] This could be a beautiful gift for anybody.

My wife and I ordered this based on reviews, ratings and price point.The block is sturdy and heavy but not in a bad way.The knives are well made and stay sharp without regular sharpening.We have had multiple friend comment on how nice it is and they ended up ordering.Well done and if we ever need another we will buy again.

I have been using this knife set for about a year. I wanted to wait and see how they held up before writing a review, as well as dispel a couple of untruths I've read in previous reviews. This is a great set. Functional, durable, sharp and stylish. And at a good price. These knives feel great in your hand and are plenty sharp for our regular household needs. If you are some sort of chef on a cooking show then maybe you need to spend a small fortune on your knives, but if you are an average user looking for great functionality at a good value, this is a great option.Regarding the reviewers mentioning that the set is cheap and the scissors fell apart... they are simply ignorant and don't know that the scissors are purposely made to easily come apart if you want to clean them. They have never come apart while I've been using them. People should read the instructions before posting inaccurate and false information. This set is not cheap at all... the knives have a decent weight to them and they are very comfortable to hold.This set is well worth the purchase and I highly recommend it.

These knives replaced a set of really terrible knives that I "inherited" so it was a great upgrade. I didn't need to spend a lot on forged blades but wanted knives with some good heft and sharp edges. These fit the bill very nicely! I have used the paring knife, the slicer and a steak knife and so far I can say they are just wonderful. How long they hold their edge / sharpness is anyone's guess but MY guess is that when they do need to be sharpened it won't be for awhile. Sliced tomatoes with the paring knife effortlessly. Sliced meat with the slicer and steak knives with ease. Great Value!

I have had the knives for about 3 months now and I just LOVE this set. The knives are extremely sharp (be careful!) and they are great quality.Heavy feel to them, which I love - not cheapo. Have not experienced any rusting so far, but I do hand wash and dry the knives every time. The set itself is compact and easy fits on the counter without taking up too much room.Would definitely recommend.
