DynaplugMicro PRO Bicycle Tire Puncture Repair-1 KiT with 10 Pieces

I recently completed a 105 mile cycling event. Soon after I started the ride I took a puncture right in the center of the tire (which is a 25mm wide tire). The sealant I use filled the puncture for the most part, but sporadically it would spew out and I would lose a few psi. At about 60 miles I decided to try my Dynaplug Pill. This was the first time I used it and was a little nervous that it would make matters worse. With that, I cleared the puncture, inserted the plug, trimmed it and I was able to complete the remaining 45 miles without ANY leakage. In fact it's still holding. I have to say, I was nervous because the repair seemed too easy.This tool kit is probably the most important one I carry, not to mention it takes up very little space in my seat bag. It is so worth the price. It is awesome quality and function. I have been recommending to all my riding friends! I will never ride without it.

Well made and compact. Expensive. Needs to come with another insertion tube for the price. Fortunately haven't needed it yet, but it probably would have worked on a sidewall puncture a week ago. Would have been 5 stars except for the price. Will get a larger plastic version for my motorcycle.Update: Used it in a mountain bike race a few days after this initial review. Allowed quick repair of a hole through the tread and getting back into the race. Would still prefer if it had come with three insertion tubes since there is room for a third. You could easily need two for a repair and a third would leave you one more plug for a second repair.

BACKGROUND: I ride 10-14,000 miles per year, all on tubeless tires and about 20% on dirt/gravel. I ride Compass (Panaracer) 700c 35mm tires, which are made from natural rubber and cotton and OrangeSealCycling Tubeless Tire Sealant, 32-Ounce. Your experience may be different with other brands.REVIEW:I've been using this Dynaplug Tire Repair Tool Dynaplug MICRO PRO Bicycle Tire Puncture Repair now for about two years (since I went tubeless on my gravel/adventure bike) and I've been extremely happy with it. A single plug seems to seal 1/8"-3/16" holes well -- anything smaller is usually handled by the tubeless sealant . The plugs have never failed me although I once tried to insert two plugs side-by-side into a 1/4" + hole without success. I really didn't expect it to work and I was really just trying to avoid having to pull of the wheel and insert a tube + a boot. Realistically a huge cut in a tire is probably not a good candidate for a plug (and likely unsafe.)The best part about these plugs is that the tire is fine until it wears out -- there is no noticeable reliability hit as the repaired tire hold air as well as it did before the puncture and the plug itself is invisible on a black rubber tire. The kit itself looks like a nightmarish stainless steel horse pill and is highly durable. There are refills too: Dynaplug 1014 Tire Repair Refill Plug - Pack of 5HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I was excited to find this bicycle specific tubeless plug kit. I bought it and stowed it away in my saddle bag feeling that I was prepared for the next time I had a puncture. That time was today after a 60 mile ride I got my chance to use this tool....sadly, it failed! Although in concept it was the perfect tool for the situation, I learned later that the inserts have to be prepped prior to inserting them into the insertion tube. You have to carefully remove the plug from the tray it is stored in, wet it and roll it between you fore-finger and thumb to keep it from sticking to the inside of the tube. If you don't take that very important step the tacky tail will stick to the inside of the insertion tube and cause the brass head to pull apart and drop the head inside your tire. If you make sure that the tacky portion of the plug is not glued to the tube, this system should work fine. Now that I know this, I am looking forward to using this tool properly to seal my next puncture!11/11/2015I have used the plug kit a couple different times. The first time was on a group ride with my road racing team. We were in a group riding about 25 miles an hour and I punctured. The team mate behind me was sprayed with sealant which is how I knew I had punctured so quickly. She complained that the sealant was not her favorite flavor……I told her that I would try another flavor next ride!I quickly jumped off, pulled my dyna-plug kit from my saddle bag, plugged the hole and was on my way in less than five minutes. I was happy and everyone in the group was impressed, except for the sealant covered team mate.The second time that I was able to use the kit was in a race and it saved me at least ten to fifteen minutes that it would have taken to replace a conventional tube.So far I have only not been able to use the kit on cuts.I have also recommended the kit to other cyclists that are using tubeless tires but not sure if any have actually purchased yet.

For tubeless tires, these are a must. This is a bit expensive but well worth it, the ease and quality is far beyond the other cheap 15 dollar tubeless repairs. Spend the money and get something of high quality.The repair fixed my puncture permanently, The sealant sealed it up before but I kept having sputtering of sealant every time I hit a bump. This stopped all that, rode all summer/fall/ and now winter with the same sealed tire and I have had zero issues.my puncture was like a gash to be honest and it sealed it up

Extremely functional product with engineered to perform well while being very compact.Quality excellent. Shipping to Canada was cause for delay.

まだ使ってないけど、YouTubeで使い方とかの説明をしててコレだ‼️と思い購入。本当に使う時がこないで欲しいけどパンクした時には頼りになりそうです。
