I wanted to ask how to turn off the dimmer side. Is it best to press the dimmer button or to rotate it untill fully off? What actually fully turns it

Always best practice to press the switch off thereby ensuring no power is being used. Turning the dimmer down might still allow power into the switch mechanism and could additionally use energy and possibly cost more than breaking the contact by switching it off completely.

Why is my dimmer slow to come on and slow when adjusted, approximately 3 secs

Good morning, This dimmer switch uses soft start technology, enabling the dimming settings to be changed in that period. The mechanism causes a slow build up, meaning less strain on the LED and improved longevity of the LED driver. Does this still work correctly if mounted upside down so the dimmer is on the left?

It does work but the rocker switch works in reverse, i.e. press top for on, bottom for off. I mounted it with the dimmer on the left and tried reversing the rocker switch to work correctly but for the manufacture has designed it so the switch can't be turned round. Shame really would have been perfect if they had.

Hi - My dimmer gets quite hot when left on for a period. Is this normal?

My dimmer gets hot too. Because the wattage changes when dimmed the power has to go somewhere and the switch gets hot.
