within the brown box, there are white and brown box cases containing the K cups. They look like retail packaging. I'm not sure what you mean by "picked by hand." If you are asking if the K cups look like seconds or deformed / lesser quality, I did not see this. The coffee looks similar to what I would purchase at a retail outlet. I like the coffee flavor and recommend it. I plan to order again.

Thanks for your question. Barista Prima Colombia coffee does not contain Soy, Peanuts, or Tree Nuts.
