La Tourangelle Toasted Sesame Oil 16.9 Fl. Oz., All-Natural, Artisanal, Great for Stir Fry, Curries, Noodles, or as a Marinade

I've ordered this toasted sesame oil several times. (Once as a 3-pack. Twice in this larger size.) What I like about this oil is that it tastes great and is of a high quality. (Mayo, soy sauce and toasted sesame oil blended together is a great dipping sauce / salad dressing.) It is on the expensive side. What I do not like about this product is that if I saw a dented and banged up can like this at the grocery, I would not purchase it. The can was loose in the shipping box with no packaging to keep it from banging around inside. Receiving it in this condition is like paying premium prices to shop at the seconds and discount store.

Often sesame oil can be better or overwhelming in flavor. This is a perfectly mellowed toasted sesame oil. I have recommended to others and others agree.

I'd have to say that toasted Sesame oil is my favorite oil. I love the taste, and I like to drizzle it into my rice water when I make Basmati rice. This oil, to my palate, is very, very tasty and priced very, very competitively. I am a fan of every one of the La Tourangelle oils I have tried, with no exceptions - Extra Virgin Olive, Toasted Sesame, Peanut and Walnut. Excellent oil, excellent price, wide selection of oils from which to choose and try.

The oil is super fine that I only need literally a dime size to get the job done. Color, taste and smell are all present. Will not be disappointed.

I do a lot of home cooking with sesame oil and I have been trying to find one that just has that right toasted flavor and this is it. Highly recommend.

Extremely happy with this oil. I use it more in dressings than to cook in. People say that it can be overpowering but it has been delightful for me. When I get a dressing from a take out that has sesame ginger in it, I doctor it up with this sesame oil and it is wonderful. I gave some to my sister hoping to get her interested in it because sesame oil is supposed to be good for us.

This oil has excellent flavor and is reasonably priced

This is a very tasty product. I've always used this brand and I've never been disappointed. However I can purchase this brand and size for 1/2 the price at any other store. I just ordered it from Amazon because someone gave me an Amazon gift card : )

The smell is not as strong as before. Just bought this and here it is again, price increase by $4.29 and becomes “Amazon’s Choice”. That’s ridiculous! I was going to get another for a friend but decide not due to the price hike.

Wonderful item, I have so many recipes that need this ingredient! Can't seem to find it anywhere locally. I'm glad I was able to find it here.It is a great quality item, and always adds the right taste to whatever you add it too. Would buy it again, and again...

I have used dark, heavy sesame oils and found them overpowering but this oil is perfect. It is full of delicious toasted sesame flavour in balance so it remains in the background tying all the other flavours together. Highly recommended.

For our Family is the perfect fit for the stir fry....giving the right taste to all the veggies.I do not hesitate to recommend this type of Sesame oil.
