RMC 32" x 50" Classic United States USA and World Wall Map Set (Classic Edition)

This was a good purchase. For $30, I received two maps, each measures 32" x 50" with a nice gloss. At the time of purchase, the description did not say that each map is actually double sided. One side is called "classic edition" which has an elegant appearance, suitable for a study or office. The other side of each map is called "A Signature Edition" which has the exact same information only a different color scheme. The signature edition has more of a student appearance with blue water features and bright colored states/countries. The classic edition has a pattern boarder with muted colors and water features in beige. I preferred this side. The paper weight is what you would expect of a poster, not heavy, not overly thin but will tear or wrinkle if mishandled. You will definitely need many pins when hanging pins to prevent sagging or have them professionally mounted on a board. I bought this for my four year old son's bedroom, he spends a lot looking at it and asking questions. Exactly what I was hoping for!

Loved that these large maps had a bright and a neutral side. The order form has you specify which color scheme you want, but both colors are on these double-sided maps. Excellent quality, laminated.

Not only do these maps look great and they are double sided. One side brights colors and the other is the antique look. Which is great for home school and then art the rest of the time. Plus they have great customer service. The usps lost my order and I notified them of this. They had a new set in the mail the very next day. Well worth the purchase.

I got these maps for my office. I unrolled them on Monday morning and laid them flat--one on top of the other--on top of a set of filing cabinets. I put a dictionary on each corner. By Friday morning, they were ready for hanging.I didn't frame them. I just hung them with magnetic refrigerator clips. That's right, underneath the fabric, my office walls are metal. That's high class. Anyway, the maps aren't inordinately delicate. I wasn't particularly gentle with them and they didn't tear. But be advised, the maps are fairly large. Make sure you have enough room to hang them.The world map appears to be accurate/current. A brief Internet search didn't clearly answer the question of what the newest country in the world is, but it appears to be South Sudan. Well, this map has Sudan and South Sudan as separate countries. It also has East Timor as a separate country. So I think it's up to date.And the U.S. map has Alaska and Hawaii. As near as I can tell, that means it's up to date too.

These maps are the absolute perfect size for my room. Most other listings are too small or take up the whole wall. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these maps and the easy readability. One thing to note is that this lister changed the maps sometime around 2019, so if you are looking at a review from then just know the product is slightly altered. The only changes I noticed was less physical geography being visible and more muted colors. I actually think the new one is better! The listing photos show the accurate (new) one. The one thing that I do not like about these maps are how reflective they are. Not a huge deal but it would have been nice if they were more matte. Overall I would buy these matching maps again if I ever needed new ones.

The ones I got were dual-sided (bonus) as well as laminated (another bonus) and are of perfect size for my office. The two color options for each map as well as the ability to use a dry-erase marker are exactly what I was wanting.
