Do not buy this. Worst pool ladder I've ever used. Worst directions I've ever seen.
My wife recently purchased this pool ladder. We saw the negative reviews about this ladder, but unfortunately did not listen. Please read all of these reviews and be fully warned. This is the worst pool ladder I've ever used, and the directions to put it together are the worst directions I've ever seen. This is not hyperbole. This is the truth. The instructions are a few pages long with very few words and a few grainy, fuzzy pictures. We have easily put together countless furniture items. Desks, dressers, pools, trampolines, other pool ladders... but nothing compares to how bad these directions are. There are extra parts that seem like they should go places, but they are not accounted for in the directions. There are a couple parts that are not accounted for in the directions at all, and I had no idea what to do with them. We were also missing a part that I'm almost positive I am supposed to have, but again, there's no parts list and it's not mentioned in the directions at all. After a terrible building experience, I told myself, "That was awful, but at least now I have a good ladder."I was very wrong. This is not a good ladder. This is a terrible ladder. As others have pointed out, it is incredibly wobbly. Climbing it feels so dangerous. In addition to that, (and again, as others have pointed out in their reviews) there's this big plastic piece that goes inside the pool, and it tries to float. I'm trying to climb this wobbly ladder, and the ladder is falling backwards because of this floating piece.I wish I could return this, but once you put it together, it's seemingly impossible to take it apart. I've thrown away the box and resigned myself to the fact that I just wasted almost $200 and over an hour of my life. This is an awful ladder, and everyone involved with it, from the design conception all the way through to building it in the factory and shipping it out should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this atrocity to be made.Shipping was fast, though.

Great seller
I gave this 5 stars even though the top platform arrived cracked, the store was wonderful. When they didn’t have the part to replace the damaged part, they refunded my money. They were friendly and prompt. I would recommend this ladder to anyone. Plus they let me keep the ladder.

How to put it together
Instructions were not good, and I was a licensed re-modeler and handyman. 1st: there is a top and bottom of the locking step lock ins. Skinny side up will help you. (not in the instructions) ( I cracked 2 stairs pounding on them with a rubber mallet. Had to use self taping screws to make them safe.) 2nd: as all ladders I have seen and tried, not sturdy enough. I used screw in hurricane anchors (I am in here in the Florida hurricane belt) however ground screw in dog anchors should work anywhere else. 1 on each side of the ladder, with cables (not rope) and use turnbuckles so you can keep tightening when needed. works great!

Wobbly and bowing under weight
This product is extremely unsafe. It seemed sturdy enough as we were constructing it, but once it was assembled, it became clear that this was too risky to use. It wobbles horribly, to the point we needed two adults to brace it for one adult to climb out while doing work on the pool. I also observed the plastic steps bowing while one person was climbing up the steps -- someone nowhere near the 300 lbs. limit this supposedly has. I could perhaps understand that happening if the ladder were getting a bit old, but this was brand new, out of the box. It also apparently likes to float rather than staying down in the pool.Beyond that, the assembly instructions are a joke. The pictures are grainy grayscale images that obscure details of the fiddly little bits that hold the whole thing together. This could be excusable if there were any useful written directions, but directions are minimal and written in extremely poor English. I'm still wondering what "Ensemble ladder Installation" means. They also leave out how to assemble the bottom steps, and there are two flaps of plastic that we still have no idea what they were supposed to be for. I will give them that they are accurate in saying it only takes an hour to assemble the whole thing, and that the instructions given make sense, but only after you've already assembled the whole thing through trial and error. Please, please pay attention to the reviews here and don't buy this junk. I regret that decision, and I'm going to be returning this because of the safety issues with it. If you do decide to persist in buying this, do note that we got the 52" ladder and it barely clears our 48" pool.
