Great book!! Lots of detailed pictures of some fantastic works by blacksmiths.

I bought this book as a gift for my blacksmith brother-in-law, which he has been using mainly for inspiration, but also for a little technical know-how. I received the book in excellent shape, which exceeded my expectations for a used book. I didn't notice a single flaw, though it's possible there were some very minor ones here and there. I looked through the book before giving it away and it seemed to have a lot of great projects and specimens of modern blacksmithing, well-categorized and with lots of history. It looked more like a descriptive book than an instructive one, but there are techniques included that blacksmiths can learn. It was a fantastic price, especially for something in such great condition, that shipped in a very reasonable amount of time, and I'm very happy with my purchase.

This book is wealth of information. These folks had it in my hands 2 days after the order. Now it's time to go to work and do a little smithing in the studio. Thanks again

Though less concerned with technical details than her earlier volume, this book's focus on design is of considerable value and interest. The variety of works and individual approaches to composition and execution make this a valuable reference manual.Recommended.

This has many interesting pictures of decorative ironwork. Useful for ideas of art work done with wrought iron.  The Contemporary Blacksmith
