does it work just with the garden hose?

A car wash brush (broom) and a mop bucket works well for me and I have tried various cleaners on Vinyl siding to remove dirt and the gross green stuff typical in shaded areas. Just dip and brush it around 2-3X (repeat as needed), rinse with a low pressure hose.
