Color is jet black. Surface of the beads is nice and shiney.

I bought these to use for travel tic-tac-toe bags. They worked very nicely for my project and were a nice black color. The only complaint I really have, is that a couple of the stones were broken. This may have happened through the shipping process. All in all, it's a good product!

I bought it for my sink but my kids play in them instead
