Whats the packet of grease for?

It's diaelectrical grease. Put it on your rubber boots and the o-rings. Prevents corrosion and oil getting into your spark plug tube.

I bought this part 6 months ago, and im still getting misfire issues with new spark plugs. Is there a warranty on the coils i bought?

Amazon directs you to contact the manufacturer, its one of the disadvantages of purchasing them online, I had the exact problem, try swapping them out with new ones, seem to solve the problem, local auto parts store has them in stock with a lifetime warranty as well but twice the price. http://www.enaautoparts.com/contact/

What are the chances these arrived defect? i installed them into my sister's 2004 civic ex plus new spark plugs. i still have misfire codes 2 and 4.

All four of mine came in good. It's possible but less likely than the wiring harness I would check it at each of the ends I had to redo the connectors at about 140k miles 2 and 3 had aged out due to heat.
