This is the first time we purchased an Axvolt product. It was relatively cheaper compared to some other popular brands. However, we decided to try the 2000W voltage transformer mainly because it is made in India and had good verified reviews. The shipment came on time and the packaging was good. The transformer is quite heavy indicating it has good quality windings inside. It feels durable and there is no audible noise except for an initial hum when first switched on. We have been using it on various 110V kitchen appliances for a month now and have only good things to say. After speaking to the Axvolt representative (customer service is good too), I learnt 2 things which may be useful for other users: 1. Transformers which are rated 2000W come with a larger size 3-pin plug (15A). So, you can use it in the kitchen where there are larger sockets for kitchen appliances like instant pot, mixer, etc. If you intend to use it for TVs or other lower wattage rated electronics, you would either need a 15A to 5A plug converter or a 1500W transformer would be the better option since I understand it comes with a 5A plug. 2. This also contains one Indian plug socket which can be used for any auxiliary Indian electronics. For example, a USA plug TV can be plugged into the 110V socket but an Indian set top box can be plugged into the Indian plug socket without the need of an extension box. This seems a useful feature to me. Overall, we are very satisfied with this product quality and proud to see that it is made in India. We intend to purchase another Axvolt transformer in the near future. This is a great value-for-money buy and I highly recommend it for everyone.

Used it for 6 months, looks good and no issues, performing well

TLDR for US-returned folks - Buy this (2000W) unit of this product and use your US-made household appliances without worry (hair straightener, coffee machine, massager etc). - Arrived on time, compact, solid build quality but not too heavy - Easy to plug-in (requires 16A socket) and attach your US-made (any appliances that require 110V AC) appliances to - Very Quiet, did not heat up at all after 30 min usage - 2 sockets, I could plug-in 2 appliances simultaneously - Dashboard shows the exact transformed voltage (eg 112 from the original 220V out of wall socket) for visual confirmation - Appliances worked correctly without damage. Bought a higher wattage unit (2000W) to cover all appliances including wife's hair straightener. Tip - Find max. wattage required by product and get a unit with 30% wattage above that just to be sure - Overall : a well made product (Made In India) at a very decent price point

Worst Customer service - Faulty product - no proper response from Customer care even after repeated follow-ups. I bought "AXVOLT Crysta 2000W Step Down transformer 220v to 110v Voltage Converter for US Appliances Used in India" and it did not work. I was directed to register a complaint on their website - but the link said "the owner has removed the form". I tried contacting the number mentioned on 18th Nov. Luck was on my side - someone picked up and said he is outside and asked me to call later. So I sent the details on WA message. I tried calling multiple times from Nov 19th till Jan 5th - but no response at all. On Jan 5th, the person picked up and asked me send pictures of the product, model details, invoice copy and the product that I'm trying to use it with, so that he can send to his technical team. He said he will get back in 2 days. From Jan 7th - no response to call. On Jan 27th, picked up again and asked for same details. Pointed to the details messaged previously. He said will check with Technical team and get back. No response till now. How can a company rely on a single person as customer care - who doesn't respond. Is that even customer care?

It has a mild humming noise which I don't like. It should have a tripper switch for safety and this thing is heavy. I can't return this either. I suggest everyone not to buy this. I think there are better ones than this
