As a professional pool player and pool hall owner I have used for myself, played with or tested almost every ball on the market. There either Polyester Resin. and the Phenolic Resin Balls are high priced, Poly balls look, feel and pretty much play the same but Phenolic balls are harder and more durable and more for commercial use, hence there high price tags, that being said, Polyester Resin Balls are not all the same, Japer Bees has taken alot more time and uses more technology and quality, I have Japer Bees TV balls and also use phenolic tv balls, however there very expensive. Japer Bees are under a Hundred. There Very Comparable. Japer Bees take more time in there finishing process than all the other Polyester Resin balls for a deep shine and luster that as is good as a Phenolic ball, Another Huge factor in performance is consistant weight. Japer Bee balls weights seem to be much more consistent than all the others I have tested, there within +1 /-1 of 169 grams or 5.9 Oz per ball. Consistant weight, it's imperative your hitting the same weight so your able to control the roll more predictably for the run out. other polyester resin balls I weighed were all over the place in weight, some up to 2 tenths of an Oz different. There finishes were less shiny and had little luster. when polished, my Japer Bee balls look identical to A brand Phenolic balls. And there durability is great. Poly balls scratch easily, and chip, etc. Japer Bee balls are much more durable. Japer Bee's are the best polyester resin balls and are perfect for Bars, Home tables and even pool halls. Japer Bee's has excellent customer service and will make it right if you have an issue with them. I noticed another reviewer had posted photos of chips on his, there's always going to be a bad ball here or there when there produced. just let them know, they'll replace the ball asap as they have for me in the past. I choose Japer Bee's over other balls on the market and use them in my business. I bought them and was pretty stunned on there excellent performance and have been using them ever since.

Purchased these since my balls were old and yellow. Now I have fresh balls. Looks good, feels good.

I waited a month before writing this review as some of the other reviewers had issues, but I'm happy to say after a month of playing with these balls 2-3 hours a day I am completely satisfied. The colors on a few of the balls are a little different than what I am used to but they roll true and look amazing. I would recommend the TV balls to anyone I know.
