We have a blind dog who nearly killed herself when she got between the banister rails on our upstairs landing and fell to the ground floor. She's fine now, but we figure she used up her extra lives and didn't want to go through that again. We ordered this after considering several options. It arrived the next day, was quick and easy to install, and looks--surprisingly!--nice. I was afraid that it would make the house look like a daycare, but you really can't even see it. It lets the light through. A plus with this product for us was that it comes with zip ties, so no extra visit to the hardware store or guessing about what size you need. The trim has holes that fit the zip ties and they secure the net tightly to the upper rail. The only downside is that you can't fix it to the floor. This is unlikely to be a problem for most people, but our little skydiver is enough of a wildcard that we staple-gunned the bottom of the net to the wood floor under the rails.Overall, very good value for the price, looks nice, and is quick and easy to install.

I needed something to keep my small dog and her toys from going through the bannister at our vacation condo and found this bannister guard. It worked perfectly! I didnt want to do the entire height (so I didn't have to look at the ocean through netting) so I did only half and rolled the bottom up against the floor so that my dog's toys wouldn't fall through either. Since this could not be permanent, I used shoe strings and spring loaded cord pulls (like on jacket or hoodie strings), fished the strings through and tied them off. It worked perfectly, and it allowed for the lovely ocean air to circulate. This product is really useful, washable, and stores easily for travel or whatever. I recommend it highly. The only thing I wish is that the pre-made holes were grommeted, but that is not a deal breaker.

We have a railing around an open staircase leading from the living room to the basement TV room. Our granddaughter is starting to crawl all over the place. The mesh is just what was needed to keep her safe. Only took a few minutes to stretch and it came with plenty of zip ties to keep the mesh secure to the railing and spindles. Nothing great to look at but it does the job perfectly. It is relatively inexpensive and and we will pitch when she is a bit older and safety conscious.

Easy to install, great zip ties and you get plenty to work with. Wish it came with the plastic hook for the wall to close the space between the wall and railing. I feel my son is safe now after i zip tied and screwed the material into the walls. Would recommend for another parents sanity with kids.

I bought this to go on our outdoor balcony, at our apartment, to make it more safe for my son. It was easy to put up and now I can sit out there with him and not worry about him getting his head caught or throwing toys off the balcony.

Bought it for a light privacy shield on my condo balcony. It works great and the quality is excellent. 3' x 15' is the exact size of my balcony. I did buy black ties instead of using the white ones provided since the railing is black. Perfect fit.
