Everyone is different and different sorts of Magnesium (of which there are many) suit varying requirements. Fistly, AVOID Magnesium Oxide. It is the cheapest (for a reason) and the least effective/absorbed variety. If you buy a mixed variet, beware as they will often slip in Magnesium Oxide as the main one but you don't become aware of that until you read the full ingredient list! For a few examples: Glycinate is good for the brain/head in particular and is a really good one all round. Theonate is THE best if you have any cognitive/memory issues, as well as being good all round. Magnesium Citrate has high elemental levels of Magnesium and is often suited to those with constipation issues, as it does loosen the stools and makes for easier transit. Look into the others like Taurate, Malate, Oratate etc Look into the amount of ELEMENTAL magnesium they contain as well as which is most suited to you and your requirements. All Magnesium IS NOT the same.
