This is helpful. But using it by yourself can get you into awkward positions. Better if one person lifts and another slips the sliders under the object being moved.

These are much smaller than we expected and no use whatsoever on carpet. Even a really short pile Axminster. Tried using them on floorboards but the furniture kept sliding off as the tiny wheels stuck in the grooves of the boards.

The wheels are solid and take the weight of the washing machine, when you need to move it. The lever is OK, but can slip off the appliance, so you must take care. It would be better if the flat lifting-panel was rubberised. I still have to manually lift up a corner to slide the device under to start with, so if you are unhappy to lift at all then this might not be for you. But I have made it work for me so I'm fairly pleased with it.
