Tight and stiff.

Well made and sturdy. I have tendonitis in my right foot, and use prescription orthotics in my shoes. This one does not have enough clearance to allow that, even though I got a half size bigger than my foot.

Buy 1/2 size larger than needed

I typically wear a size 11 my whole adult life and I bought an 11 1/2 and it fits perfect. I am 5 foot 11 170 pounds. These are well-made shoes extremely light and comfortable.
