This one small device solves all the drinking water problem in the house. This is mainly needed when the valve gets damage. I had issue in my existing ball tap and it started to leak, after fixing this - now all the problem solved. We have to wait for the tank to full and then the pressure is good, then the water start to raise up and come fast as possible. Quick and easy to install but need bit patience. Build quality also good - hope this will come for 2 years at least.

Replaced my old valve without a shutoff when I replaced my reverse osmosis tank. I didn't use teflon tape on my iSpring storage tank because this has an O ring seal, but it leaked. Did three wraps of tape and it worked perfectly without leaking.

I used this fitting on my RO tank which I had to replace as my old tanks bladder wore out. I upsized my tank and wanted a push-connect fitting rather than a compression fitting as all of the other fittings on my RO system were already push-connect type. This one was a perfect fit on the new tank as well as the discharge hose side. Having the ballvalve was a bonus and it also adds a nice feature to my new tank that I didn't have before. Installed this fitting on my new tank and pressed the discharge water hose into the fitting in under 15 minutes. The fit was perfect and there were no leaks. Great product that I would buy again.

Works quite well but internal gasket was not enough in my case. I still had to use a sealant tape. Somehow 3-4 gal tanks were available with 1/4" valve only. I have tiny unit and not a big tank but I want to have good water flow when I'm refilling humidifiers. Because of that I've got this 3/8" valve. Even though my RO unit works on 1/4" hoses, I used adapter to connect it to 3/8" running from the tank to the outlet. I also don't use faucet but just a 3/8" hose to fill humidifiers. More convenient, faster and less messy.

My RO system was about 5 years old and the available volume had diminished markedly. So I decided to replace the reservoir/pressure tank. I probably could have reused the old tank-top valve but buying this one made the swap super simple. I did not need to drain the old tank.

I used this on a reverse osmosis pressure tank because the valve that came with the tank wasn't the right size for the hose. I wrapped the tank thread with teflon tape, installed the valve, squared off the end of the hose and inserted it into the fitting. There will be some resistance when the hose hits the O-ring, so be sure to use some force to push past that, otherwise it will leak. I didn't have any trouble assembling it, no leaks.
