Can i use it on a brown leather chair with unfinished leather? I need to get rid of a dark stain left by hair conditioner from my daughter

I used it on a medium brown leather wallet that had some scuff & scratches. It is now a very dark brown even after drying. It will change the original color so beware. However, it is great for black leather. I reconditioned a handbag and it looked beautiful.

Will this remove tacky spots that may be from over conditioning? My bag is covered in tacky spots I cannot clean off.

Hey Zachary,Yes, Straight Cleaner should help with those. I'd remove as much of the tackyness as you can from the leather with a soft, lightly damp rag first. After you've gotten as much residue as possible off of the surface, apply Straight Cleaner. Your leather may need a few cleaning sessions with Straight Cleaner, but you should begin to see results within the first few days. Don't forget to test the recipe in a discrete area before applying it!

I have this odd material on a Coach purse, kind of like patent leather. Got ink from a newspaper it was sitting on, would this remove newspaper ink?

Yes, as long as it is not a suede or napped leather, which Coach frequently uses. If so.. you will want to use Coach products exclusively, or a suede leather cleaner and conditioner. If not you can give the #2 Straight Cleaner a go. just be sure to do a test in a discreet area to be sure you will be pleased with the results.

Can this be used on a vinyl car dashboard?
