Excellent Monitor
I think this is my fourth Asus monitor now. I have always found them to be a good product at a reasonable price. This monitor is no exception. It's a great monitor and about the cheapest 100% and calibrated monitor you can get. It has a 75Hz refresh rate and Freesync. That Freesync happily works with NVIDIA. I am not sure really why you would want any of that unless perhaps you are playing the odd game. The monitor comes well protected in a thick box, with stand, USB cable ( the monitor has a built in hub), DP cable, and two power cables. One for the UK and one for Europe. There's also one that I am unfamiliar with, which has a DP - USB C cable. Most of the box is card, but there is some plastic wrapping up the monitor and protecting the screen. The stand is really heavy and solid. I didn't use it, though, preferring to use a monitor arm. The monitor comes with the usual Asus interface and has a wider range of settings. They do suggest that you turn energy saving off to maintain colour accuracy. Of course the contrast is a little lacking, it's an IPS monitor not an OLED. But it's only a little lacking. It's really not bad at all. Highly recommended. It's a great monitor at a very reasonable price.

Brilliant monitor!
Huge step up from my previous monitor. Colours are very very good and accurate!! The speakers aren't great but I won't be using them anyway. It's super useful being able to connect to my laptop and display on the monitor with only 1 USB-C cable rather than a big display port cable! The height adjustment is very useful too and the 90° rotation can be convenient too though I'm yet to use it. The brightness is super bright when in standard mode (default) but when switching to sRGB and the other modes it reduces brightness to about 50% which is still good and I assume necessary for accurate viewing or things would be too bright etc. It's a great monitor and definitely something to look into if you are a photographer like me, or have any interest in other creative things

Good quality, easy to use, ideal for photographers on a budget
I wanted to replace my two dell 27" monitors as they are only 1920x1080 and are not matched therefore giving different results when processing photographs. I liked the fact that the ASUS ProArt Displays are Calman certified for calibration and offer a higher resolution of 1560x1440. The screens came well packaged and were easy to set up although there is no manual included but this can be downloaded, however there was a quick start guide for setting up the stand which is multi-functional. My ASUS motherboard had no problem finding the screens during setup and I didn't need to make any changes to factory settings which have been in use for a week now. There were plenty of leads included and I chose the supplied Display Port option, all inputs are clearly marked on the back of the screen. I also fitted the USB upstream lead which supplies power to the two USB ports on the side of the monitor, I did try this option for charging my iPhone but this proved to be slow as the screen powers down after 5 mins idle so I won't bother with this option. I have not used the built-in speakers as I have an external speaker already. All in all I am very satisfied with the monitors and could only find one gripe which is their use of foam packaging in the cardboard box.

Brilliant monitor if you don't need 4K, forget the speakers
Most of my screen time is spent in Firefox, Outlook and Word. I was concerned that changing to a 4K monitor would mean text that was too small to work with. The ASUS PA278CV monitor seemed to be a suitable. In fact, it's brilliant! Clear text, great definition, colours and connectivity, versatile stand and, a reasonable cost (Amazon) compared to 4K. I was also concerned that moving to a 27" from a 22" would be overkill for my small computer desk, but it's a perfect fit. I have reduced peripheral vsion on the right-hand side (hemianopia) but the width of the screen encourages me to scan to the right; a positive attribute that I hadn't expected. Downside? Speakers are quiet and fogetable apart from Windows system sounds. The supplied instructions use pictograms that are not the most informative. Written instructions can be downloaded at ASUS Download UK, and are almost essential. With those instructions I found two more USB-A ports on the side of the monitor. At the moment I'm using HDMI input, but I will be trying DP. The USB-C connection to a Samsung S8 tablet, automatically changed the tablet to DX mode and, the ASUS monitor produced a great version of the tablet screen. My Windows 10 set up with an ancient graphics card was happy to switch to 75Hz refresh, but the 11th gen Core i5 running Windows 11 in Intel UHD graphics will only run 64Hz. Neither computer will run HDR. I need to try the USB-C input as a KVM. There is also a free 3 month download of Adobe Creative Cloud to try. In summary, I couldn't be happier and, it looks good with the nearby ASUS ET12 router. Update 1 September 2024 As with all of my ASUS kit, it has performed faultlessly. I'm a stroke lived-experience person for several Universities and the Stroke Association, and that means 90 minute Zoom or Teams sessions using separate speakers and a webcam. Additionally, DESNZ webinars on Net Zero. The height adjustment is superb for that, and again, I never have dry eyes or eye strain at the end of those sessions, although I am certified as sight impaired. Update 16 September 2025 The inbuilt KVM works fine for switching between the USB-4 and HDMI inputs. The mains input appears to be defective withing the monitor but continues to work if I don't reposition the screen. ASUS provided a free warranty update to 5 years, so if it becomes a problem, I'll send in back under warranty.

Contra: Viene sin el cable HDMI. PROS: Excelente pantalla.

Really great monitor. I wanted something that supports HDR. To have that, you have to use the USB-C connector. You cannot enable HDR on the monitor while using HDMI. Only then could I also enable it in Windows 11. Excellent quality and image. Sound is poor, but one should be a fool to expect "good" sound from a monitor. I clearly recommend this. Also check carefully the alternative prices. I had it at a very good price because a more expensive vendor (Asus Europe) was offering a 15% (or was it10 ?) rebate, which finally was making it cheaper. I also received for free a nice Asus gaming mouse.
