Late 19th century kids' fun!
This is told with Alcott's usual moralising - but she is not exactly preachy as her characters are so sweet and likeable that you can relax and enjoy the story! And you can't really argue with a lot of the messages either... I also find it an interesting snapshot into the world of children c1880. Perfect for fans of Little Women and Good Wives.
