Extremely well thought arrangement of subjects and questions. Challenging but not too difficult to decipher. Help my kid to learn persistence and gain confidence in math.

My son loves it!

Having lived in Asia for a number of years I was delighted to have found these books, I do get the feeling that the UK education in both Private and public schools are not up to world standards. When you think of great countries where they invest in the children from a very young age you immediately think of some of the Asian countries and Scandinavia where they take the time to put in the effort and funds necessary that's not to mention the parental attitudes of some in the UK. I'm a firm believer that every child in any country can excel if they are given the tools and encouragement both in school and at home. As a teacher we do take some of these approaches and introduce in the classroom, which helps each child think differently. Our boy loves these and will happily sit in front of each of the activities without us needing to be there. I'm sure your child to would like the approach which these books bring. Great purchase, we are working through the series so I hope they keep introducing new books in the coming years.

It is a practice book,no explanations no examples.If you are looking for a "child friendly" type of books, you will be disappointed. The paper is a bit thin and no colorful pictures. The answers are quiet short without detailed explanations.If you are looking for home works,this is the right book. It has over 200 pages of practices questions and every page is quiet full. Comparing with other 30 pages books about the same price, it is quiet worth the money.Every topic has basic practice questions and challenging questions. I found it is quiet interesting and could be a good challenge for children.I like it. It is a practice book with loads of questions. On each topic, the questions are arranged in different ways to test children's understanding of the concepts. It definitely will improve children's math ability.
