Not the best
It fits on the skillet and is heat proof, however It will not stay in place during cooking. Only good to take on and off as needed, for that I could have just use a regular pot holder with more hand protection.

These are nice, good quality and fit my pan which is NOT a lodge. They still work great!

This is not a tight fit like the regular handle holder
I am a big fan of the lodge cast iron cookware. I already had some of the lodge silicone handle covers. When I got a larger frying pan with the handle assist on the opposite side of the handle I order this to help me manage it. Like others had stated it doesn't fit very snuggly. You really do have to hang on to it or it will slip off.

Work as designed
These are not made to snap on and leave on your skillet or pan. These are an alternative to the ol style oven gloves etc. they do provide a good non slip grip when moving your hot cast iron cookware

Great product!
These fit all my cast iron pots and skillets with rim handles. Just wash them out in soapy water and let dry and keep them handy nearby so you don’t forget to put them on before starting the cooking process.
