The extension was connected directly to my tank so a 90 degree fitting could reach over the lip of my rig to a macerator pump. Now everything sits nicely and I can see when the tank is nearly empty so my pump doesn't run dry. Very useful product that arrive in good time.

I purchased this so that I would know when my black tank was clean, obviously. I mean, why else would you buy a clear sewer hose adapter, right? Well it works perfectly. The material is 100% clear so it's quite easy to check the status of your tank water as it exits the RV. It is a very sturdy plastic too, and the connector with o-ring snaps into place very securely--no worries about leaking. I can't leave mine attached all the time due to the configuration of my RV's plumbing (it would stick down and out of my water bay, vulnerable to damage. But I suspect that many out there could install this once and then just leave it in place from that point on.I must say that it's quite gross the first time you use this. It shouldn't surprise you, but it's gross nevertheless. But it's also quite satisfying to see how CLEAN your water will get after you dump, then refill the black tank a time or two with fresh water. :-)

These work great! Just what I needed for dumping my RV tanks. The dump valve ends on my trailer terminated so far under the trailer that I had a hard time reaching them without kneeling on the ground at the dump station (yes very disturbing!) in order to remove the caps on my dump valves. This extension product makes it so my valve caps are now very close the exterior wall of my trailer and also they are clear so no question whether there is any yucky leakage or not at the cap so I now know before removing the valve caps. Gross, yes, but a very good product. These have made my RV dumping experience a lot less stressful!

This clear sewer hose adapter is exactly what I was looking for. It comes straight out and not pointed down like another one I had. This becomes important as I find at some campsites it's already hard to get enough height above the campsite sewer connector so this helps. It's nice and short so it doesn't take up to much space in the storage cabinet; nor does it add much weight. The clear adapter allows me to see what's coming out (or not coming out).
