Spoga 1/4-Inch Anti-Slip Exercise Yoga Mat with Carrying Strap

Bought this for my son's yoga class, he loves it.

Nice texture, good for doing planks.

The mat seemed ok. I wanted something a little thicker than one I have and with a carry strap. This was probably not really thicker but the strap makes it convenient to carry so I thought I would try it. It was meant for occasional use when I workout at home. I used it no more than 8 times (probably more like 6) and little pieces began to flake off. I have had a similar mat for several years and never had this problem. Also the strap isn't even attached and is not easy to attach. Overall, I was disappointed. Unfortunately it's too late to return.

I purchased this as a mat to stretch on, not necessarily to do yoga, on my hardwood apartment floor. For this purpose i've found it to be incredibly satisfactory for the price. It's thick enough that I can sit on it without any discomfort and can do cat arches or similar things on my hands and knees without issue. Really the only problem I've had is that when laying on my back and pulling my knees to my chest, the mat does compress enough that I feel my spine on the hardwood. A simple modification to straighten my back usually corrects that issue though. While I am not constantly doing yoga movements on it, I have had no issues with it deteriorating even with my roommates walking across it in their shoes every so often.

I'm happy with my Spoga Yoga Mat I got the color light blue, the mat is padded nicely and is long so I was able to fold it in half for extra back support while doing floor exercises.The black carrying straps are really simple nothing fancy but they actually work really well for carrying, I've always just held my mat together or tied a ribbon around it after use but the strap allows me to put the mat comfortably over my shoulder and free up my hands.If you're looking for a comfortable simple yoga mat good for gym use or home exercising I would definitely recommend this yoga mat and for a good price too if you aren't looking to over spend but want something of almost equal quality to the more expensive mats.

We bought 4 of these, each a different color for each member of the family when we started taking yoga classes. The colors are very vibrant. It's a great basic mat. It rolls out flat with very minimal curling. I would flip it over when I got to class after unrolling it, by the time I got my shoes, blocks, and everything situated for class it would not be furled anymore. The strap is elastic which makes for easy on/off. We didn't have any problems with them degrading, but we only used on wood studio floor, not outside. It seemed to spring back quickly after compression of hands, etc. It find have a slight chemical smell. I am sensitive to smells, I really only noticed the first use, and then after only when my face was right down on the mat (child pose)

Big and sturdy! Haven't used it yet but I am pleased with the quality. Arrived super fast and in great condition! I will update after tonight's yoga..Update: This mat has held up wonderfully! I have used it on grass, rock, and carpet. It stays put and does not slide around when I am doing my lunges. Alao, it's thick and foamy. I would recommend this mat for real. If just rating for comfort it's a solid five stars..it's also sturdy, and well put together. It has a basic strap for carrying. Update: 6/28 um, spoke to soon. The Matt is now literally shedding. Now, each workout afterwards, there is piles of red strips from the mat!😒 It's everywhere because I thought my dogs were bringing it in. Shedding Everywhere.

This is a great yoga mat for the price. It's a nice thickness, and it doesn't stretch out or get slippery with sweat (important because I sweat A LOT, and I was staying stable throughout all of my power yoga moves), which makes it fantastic for poses like down dog.HOWEVER, the durability of the material is a little suspect. I've been using the mat for about 2 weeks now, and the carrying strap it comes with has already started to degrade parts of the mat that the strap squeezes. While I know I'll get quite a few uses from this mat, I'm a bit worried about the product's longevity.

Took it to hot yoga and used it for exercising at home several times a week. Overall it's a cheap mat, made cheaply. It fulfilled its purpose for a few months but now it has tears everywhere and leaves crums every time I use it. If you're only using this mat for stretching and light exercise I'm sure it'll last you longer, but if you're serious about your fitness and want a quality long-lasting product, I would invest in a better yoga mat.

The mat is dense and good quality. Has a faint rubber smell when unpackaged but that goes away. Mat size is a bit small, good for those 5"4 and under. The carrying strap is convenient. Will see how well it holds up in the coming months.

Like thickness and length of mat but found after couple uses that pieces of mat break off when using.
